1955 CJ-5 Oklahoma City, Ok $1500

It might be the carb or a fuel pump.  I suspect the problem is cheap to solve.  This might have little or no rust.

“1955 Jeep CJ5. 4 cyl “F” head engine, manual transmission and 4 wheel drive. It is mechanically in good condition other than a current carburetor problem that allows it to start but not continue to run. It is currently in storage near Alva. but is priced F.O.B Oklahoma City. 1950 M-38 Kansas City, Mo $3500

• CATEGORIES: M-38 This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

The price is a bit high on this project.  However, what interests me is that this appears to be a M-38 body, with the exception of a battery box.  And, this doesn’t appear to be a replacement body to me.

This looks to have a replacement body.

“1948 Jeep Willy’s CJ2A. This jeep has been fully restored around 10 yrs ago. It had 10,000 dollars put into it. It is in extremely good shape and virtually rust free. The paint is still in excellent shape. It has been converted over to 12VDC so as to make it easier to start, especially in cold weather. It has a flathead 4cyl, and runs excellent. The 4 wheel drive works great and shifts smooth. The gear ratio is 5:38. It has been stored indoors. The only trades I am interested in would be a 3/4 to 1 ton 4X4 truck either chevy, gmc, or dodge. Of equal value.

If interested please call Mike at 859-797-3830 or Bill at 859-797-1411 NO CALLS AFTER 9:30PM.”
