“1953 modified willy’s jeep with chevy 327 w/four barrel edlebrock carb. dyna four wheel drive and berg-werner four speed trans.”
Bob spotted this unusually modified MB. The seller believes this was converted by the Greek Army.
“Converted by Greek Army to re-coilest rifle carrier, ammo mounts in tact, 3 out of 4 combat wheels, solid body with surface rust, does not have motor but does have original running gear-motors available. please call- 216-287-3582”
No pics provided. Sounds rough.
“1947 willys jeep . runs good has orig 4 cyl engine and transmission. not pretty . good woods buggie, no brakes ..needs wheel cylenders on the back ..1500.00 or trade for aircooled vw bug or bus…9414681223…dj”
This looks to have a replacement body.
“1948 Jeep Willy’s CJ2A. This jeep has been fully restored around 10 yrs ago. It had 10,000 dollars put into it. It is in extremely good shape and virtually rust free. The paint is still in excellent shape. It has been converted over to 12VDC so as to make it easier to start, especially in cold weather. It has a flathead 4cyl, and runs excellent. The 4 wheel drive works great and shifts smooth. The gear ratio is 5:38. It has been stored indoors. The only trades I am interested in would be a 3/4 to 1 ton 4X4 truck either chevy, gmc, or dodge. Of equal value.
If interested please call Mike at 859-797-3830 or Bill at 859-797-1411 NO CALLS AFTER 9:30PM.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1300
This looks stock and rough.
“Old Army style Jeep. Has plow with hydraulics. Needs carb cleaned and hoses replaced to make run. I bought to use this winter but am not putting the time forth to work on it.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay

BOUGHT REAL ESTATE AND THIS WAS LEFT IN THE GARAGE. OLD TIMER USED IT TO PLOWTHE LOT. DOES NOT HAVE NOT HAVE A TITLE OR ANY DOCUMENTATION, NO WARRANTEES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED”

“jeep willys 4500 obo hasnt run in a year call 9289414439 or text 9282460859”
UPDATE: **SOLD** was priced at $2000. This is a no-glove-box slat grille MB.
Dexter forwarded the pics and noted, “This guy sent me lots of pics. It’s an early slat without a glovebox. The engine number is I10885, which puts it in the “no glovebox category.” The 10,885th slat made.”
“1942 willy’s Jeep L134 engine runs & drives.”
UPDATE: Was $2000. **SOLD**
(12/10/2010) The head is off, but this sure looks solid.
“This jeep is all original. Most of its life has been in eastern washington,so there is very little rust. The engine head is off because of a bad head gasket.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9250.
(08/26/2010) According to the seller, this is a factory built Veep. This is one of the nicer Veeps I’ve seen.
“This is a factory built Veep. They were built from 1979 to 1981. It is an all metal CJ3 body on a really tough square tube chassis with all VW running gear. Really well done and well constructed. Drives smoothly like a VW and not like a jeep CJ3. It is the ultimate ride for street or off road. Would make a great hunting buggy. Will go most anywhere without much effort. I have owned the veep for over 20 years and it has always been stored inside. The bottom of the car is as clean as the top. It has a soft top, frame and doors. The car was appraised about a year ago for insurance purposes at $12,200.00. I am asking $9,250.00 for the car and will look at all offers. Need the storage space.”
