Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (09/12/2009) “I am selling my 1948 CJ2A. It has a 3A stainless windshield, 1970 Buick 225 V6 oddfire engine, ford T18A tranny with 6.32:1 first gear. It has a twin sticked dana 18 t case, d 44 rear axle with a detroit, warn full float hubs and 30 spline chromo shafts. It has a d30 front, lockright, warn hubs and 27 spline shafts. It rolls on 36x1250x15 tsl sx with 50 miles on them. The jeep has a bikini top, windjammer, half and full soft doors. It has dual fuel tanks (30 gallon capacity), a warn winch, tire carrier and full size spare, rocklights, electric fan…and much more ….”

“restoration project just out of storage. body and frame in new origional condition. jeep is sold without electrical system and powertrain. must see to appreciate, looks like it was removed from the assembly line in 1952! no rust now or ever”
I’m not quite sure how, but I stumbled upon this pink wagon from the Haxadecimal.com site which was listed on ebay in 2006. This is one of a wide variety of unusual vehicles you can find at that site.
This sure looks like a good price.
