Gerald and I were exchanges some emails and he mentioned that his brother and he rebuilt a Mitey Mite a few years back. I think he was trying to inspire me with the Champs? Here are a few pics.

“it is a 1958 willy’s jeep …… with a cj5 body and a chevy tilt wheel streeing wheel….. with the dodge power streeing …….. with a dana 44 frount axle and a chevy dana 60 real .with the 517 grear’s the 1958 willy’s tran and transfercase in it less then 100 mile’s on it …. o ya the engine is a 1979 comar with the ram horn manifold and the engine has been rebuilt and blue printed and bandes with a 5 over 10 crack and 15 over 20 cam with 1:14 pisten’s and rebuilt head’s 2100 sq inch head’s it sounds like a rape date nase car just loader”

Apparently, the carb was changed in ’54 and there is a plaque on the dash verifying this?
“’43’ Willys Jeep, plaque on dash states that carburator was changes by army in ’54’ / Brakes and transmission gone through and repaired, good tires, engine also gone over. Gas tank needs cleaning. Price is firm, more into it than that.”

This looks good, but it’s missing the drain holes. I suspect there’s been some body work.
