This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. David Ommanney appears to have been a well know big game hunter in Nairobi. As best as I can tell, this is a modified Willys Wagon. I have searched for a better image, but haven’t found one, though I found images of his later vehicle, a Landrover.
This looks like a good price.

It runs, but has a rough tub.
“54′ CJ3b Rebuilt F-head engine with hardly any miles on it. Also has new radiator,waterpump,hoses, fuel pump and fuel tank. Rebuilt carb. Recent brakes. Restoration project. Mechanically almost done.Runs great,needs tub re-done or new tub. Tires good.
