Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The shipping on this from Argentina would be a killer — However, I can’t say I’ve ever seen these for sale in the US. You can learn more about the JA-3UB here (though the translation is rough).

It is missing some parts.
“1946 Willys CJ-2A project for sale. It is in pieces and needs some time. I’m the 2nd owner and have had it for 10 years. It was orginally purchased in Belt MT. Missing transmission, tailgate and some various engine parts. I was going to put in a newer engine and never finished it. Has a metal half cab, 16″ rims and an extra set of 15 in rims/tires.”

(12/29/09) It needs to be completed (no seat at the minimum).
“This is a great un-altered project. It is about 99% complete and original (4cyl. flathead Hurricane engine, 3speed trans with Hi-Lo range, 4X4….. all in operational condition, The brakes are NOT working ) The body is pretty solid except for rust through on driver side floor. Title in hand.”
