These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1952 Jeep Willys for sale, drive train completely rebuilt, new engine block professionally built, all new brakes, transmission rebuilt, front and rear differentials rebuilt, new rims no tires, new rear body (Tub), chassis sandblasted primed and painted. Don’t have a title and can’t find VIN tag or VIN on the frame. Asking $5,000 or best offer.”
“1947 Will’y Jeep CJ2A in good condition, runs excellent. The motor is the L4-134 “Go Devil” 4 Cylinder engine. Conversion to 12 volt and a few upgrades before my time. Must see to appreciate”
“For sale, good winter project. All parts for 1948 CJ-2A Jeep Willys. 2 engines, 134F 4 cylinder, all the old parts and some new parts, rolling chassis, transmission, tub, seats, fenders, windshield. Needs restoration, started the project and no longer have time. All paperwork and all parts are available.”
Bill let me know that the 2023 Holy Toledo Calendar is available for purchase! This year’s calendar includes a wide range of jeeps, from early prototype jeeps into the 1970s with a Brazilian pickup.
UPDATES: 1) Moving the propane tank got delayed until today, so no updates until Wednesday.
2) We are back in the 21st century with running water. Woo hoo! The ‘death’ announcement of the pump was premature on my part, as a toasted electrical part was causing it to appear frozen. Repaired for only $48, the mechanic noted that the rest of the pump was still in excellent shape (despite being 20 years old), so no need to replace it! That’s a win! …
We are dry camping this weekend … at home!
Yep, our booster water pump seemingly died on Saturday morning (cue the sound of Taps), leaving us with irrigation water (via the well pump), but no house water. Thankfully, we can turn the irrigation well water on and fill up buckets. So, it isn’t the worst situation. But, it is annoying. So, Monday morning we’ll be calling a local pump company.
Meanwhile, on Monday morning we are also supposed to get our propane tank moved (1000 gallon tank), so we will be without propane for at least part of Monday. That will be great, because we have been limiting heat so that we can don’t run out of propane (we are at about 7% which should make moving the tank much easier).
Ann did get some shrubs planted around the bunkhouse, so the work there is almost done for winter.
Doesn’t run at the moment, but has potential. It appears the cargo area has been lengthened. Note the photo that shows the underside of the body near the rear of the frame. You can see the body sits several inches behind the normal rear of the frame. Moreover, a couple pics show what appear to be patches on the top of the rear wheel wells. There is no side shot that really shows how it looks after being lengthened.

This has a replacement body, but I think it might have been an M-38. The windshield is shorter, like a CJ-3B, but with an unusual scallop. I don’t know if this is custom or aftermarket.
“1952 Jeep Willys 4×4 350 automatic transmission 3.8L V6 Clean title and registered till Nov Beautiful restored jeep Engine runs strong 33” tires Only issue are the brakes, the pedal hits the steering wheel column so it needs to be positioned better. They’re drum brakes so they’re stiff but they do work, I used to drive this thing around. I just don’t have the time or money to fix anymore.”
“Nicest 3B you’ll find at this price. 3rd owner. I’ve owned it over 34 years. Over $19,000 in receipts and full documentation. 250 miles on the engine (4-134F engine) since a complete rebuild. Runs smooth and strong. Warner T-90 3 speed transmission and Spicer 18 transfer case. Also have PTO Ramsey winch and shifter with shaft. Not installed but included. Interior is a 10/10 and exterior is an 8/10. Tires are excellent and only have 280 miles on them. $10,600 OBO. PM for more details.”
