UPDATE: Just to be clear, this is not preassembled. It is a kit that needs assembly.

John forwarded me this link to a scale model jeep kit, roughly 22″ long, being sold through MegaHobby.com. At $260.96, it isn’t cheap, but it appears to be a detailed larger scale model. The model is produced by Dragon, which is short for Dragon Models Limited, a company out of Hong Kong, that has been making military diecaet models since 1987.

Listed as a 1960, it appears later than that given the fenders and grille. The dashboard is about as minimalist as they get!

UPDATE: Price dropped to $6500.

(02/11/2022) The half-top looks refurbed/customized and the roof of this half-cab extends a little too far over the front. It seems that would be a big wind catcher at any decent rate of speed.

The Jeep has not run in a few years now, when we parked it my mechanic indicated it had a timing issue and I haven’t gotten back to it since. Compression was good at that time. Has a ford pinto engine swapped in with stock 3 speed trans and warn overdrive unit. 4 stick jeep. Clean texas title. I have a soft top for it with doors and original pizza cutter steel wheels.
