About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This is an edited version of an ad for a Holden-modified ambulance for sale in 2010 (or maybe it wasn’t a Holden?). Now it contains some information on Holden-Modified Jeeps.

“This is a mechanically restored and very cosmetically sound Willys. It has a rebuilt and balanced Chevy 327 cubic inch with 202 heads. It has an MSD 6 Offroad Electronic ignition and coil, MSD Billet distributor, Optima battery, Northern Aluminum radiator, electric fan (automatic), Dana 44 axles, 3.73:1 Gears, limited slip, 465 transmission and 205 transfer case, Vintage Air Heater, new glassand large capacity fuel tank(gas gauge is inop). The front end, brakes etc are all in great shape. The last owner spent approx. $12,000 on the Willys recently. This is a very nice example of a 1955 Willys Utility Wagon.”
This includes an Overdrive. There’s a small problem with the tranny. Looks like a good deal.
“1960 Willys CJ5. Matching body and frame numbers in surprisingly good shape for it’s age. Has good running Buick 231 V-6, SM420 trans, Dana 18 Transfer, Saturn overdrive, GM power steering, Dana 44/25 w/5.38 gears, PowerTrax locker in the rear and Warn locking hubs in front. Fresh 33 X 12.50’s all the way around including spare. Also have rebuilt older Warn winch(8274), new hi lift jack and two jerry cans w/mounts ready for mounting and use. Has bikini and full soft tops w/doors. Trans and transfer are removed. Trans has a small problem, easily repaired. Was going to set up it up for Rubicon, but divorce is forcing quick sale. Email for more photos or additional info.”
“A 1948 willy nice willy solid great to drive . Has new brakes all around, new rebuilt tranmission, new floor borad, lots of new parts.you may e-mail me or call for more info”
This comes with some body parts. This might be a good price and a good foundation for an early build.
“This is a restored 1948 or 1949 Willys CJ3A rolling chassis with transmission, transfer case, front and rear axles and driveshafts. Frame has been sandblasted down & repainted, new brake lines and shocks. Has DJ3A fuel tank added in the rear of the frame. Comes with firewall, windshield frame, hood and grill from a DJ3A. No other sheet metal available. No engine.”
This includes an OD, extra engine, extra tranny and tc.
“I got it from the ORIGINAL OWNER!!!!!! need some work, it has some easally repairable rust in teh front floorboard. I can fix it for a very resaonable cost (the right way, no hack job) or you can. its been in dry storage its whole life. chevy small block w/3speed and Warn overdrive. I also have a Jeep (buick) 225 v-6 w/ t-14 3spd and dana 20 transfercase from a commando that can go with it. It would not take much at all to have this thing on the road (or off the road). wiring is all there converted to 12 volt. drivetrain is all intact. I have the windshield (cracked) and top w/doors that are not in the photos. needs some brakes work. the roll bar is also frame mounted.
Make me an offer, please be reasonable because it is not very often you run across an original owner jeep of this era. I might, just maybe, possably take PART trade on this (totota stuff, chevy stuff ,tires, or running car, or something REALLY interesting)……but only maybe part trade. I do not want to sell thsi it is my dream jeep (especially when done) but I started a new business and need the $$$$$ Thanks for looking. email is the best way to get ahold of me right now.”
This is a project with some extra parts, including a winch. This might be a good find for the right person.
