This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. That’s one dirty windshield! The jeep looks rust free on the outside. This might be a good deal if the jeep will start.
“1962 Willys CJ5, been parked under a shed for 10 years. When parked was in running condition, motor and transmission are both original. Have title. A second 1962 Willys CJ5 is also incuded, it is in pieces and was being used for parts, all parts are still with jeep. Great for someone looking for a restoration project.”

It doesn’t run. It appears to have some old school 10 x 15 slot rims.

I believe this is a Dana 25. This would be a quick and easy way to upgrade to a limited slip in the front, assuming the gear ratio matches what you have.

Here’s some spare rims.
“Here are a set of wheels that came off a Willys Jeep but will fit others. They are a 15 inch wheel and about 10 inches wide. These look alot alike but are actually 2 different styles of centers. One is slotted and the other is solid – 2 of each. There is some surface rust on these but not pitted. The seller provides a very nice overview of the jeep.
“This is an extremely rare 1942 Slat Grill Jeep. Depending on where you look, different sources indicate that between 25 and 300 of these Jeeps are known to exist today.
The number plate on this Jeep shows that it is number 113424 (the 1’s are punched as I’s-see photo). This is the numbering for the Jeep, and does not indicate that 113,424 of these were made. Rather, the first 25,000 Jeeps ever made were Slat Grills, and the vast majority have been destroyed. I have had this Jeep for several years, and it has a clear California title. There are no registration issues since it has been registered non-operational so that no back fees accumulated while I stored it.
From what I can know and can tell:
I bought the jeep with an F-head motor and replaced it with the correct L-Head motor, but the motor is an aftermarket Kaiser Motor rather than a Willys. The motor which is in it is a Kaiser Supersonic, and since its rebuild 12 years ago, has been run for only a few hours. Unfortunately, I no longer have the rebuild receipt but it was rebuilt professionally…..”

“1966 kaiser jeep cj5 for sale or trade.first year for the buick dauntless 225 v-6.runs great.3-speed,4×4.soft and bikkini tops,roll bar.seats are in great shape.fold down front windshield,chrome wheels.headers,dual pipes.2-5 gallon gas cans and spare tire mounted to back.like i said runs great,was driven down from nevada with no problems,nevada title.will need to have speedo and fuel gauge worked on and needs the right front brake looked at.wont take much tlc to have a real nice jeep.you can climb a tree with this jeep.”
