Here’s two offroad retreads we can’t get in the United States (to the best of my knowledge). They are available from technopneu in Quebec (information courtesy of Felix at our new Quebec bureau!) & in the UK as shown below.
1984 CJ-10 Moses Lake, WA **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1750.
It’s not a willys, but it’s unusual.
“
1984 Jeep CJ10A. runner. Produced in the US for the military only. Exported elsewhere. This one is a flightline tow tractor. Factory Nissan 3.3 litre diesel engine and auto trans. Transfer case is locked into low for heavy towing. Will move 60,000 lb loads easy. Many of the parts are interchangable with the entire CJ line. Removable top. folding window. Good interior. 2 pics are of vehicle, 3rd is an export example. No title. My plan was to do a CJ10/5/7 type of conversion/pickup etc. No time as with lots of my projects. Must go soon.”
Year? CJ-3B Annapolis, MD **SOLD**
“One owner since ’72; never restored, but more than maintained with everything new as needed; F-four, runs great, starts right up. All gears work fine including four wheel drive and low range gear box/shifter. Brakes and gauges work fine. Some rust on driver and passenger side step plate, under-seat storage compartments, but not as much as you would expect considering year/model. Everything in good working order;garaged since ’72;all maintenence records since ’72, fifth wheel/spare, full rain/dust cover”
1946 CJ-2A Brentwood, Ca For Trade
I believe this has a MB Grille and windshield, but the other parts appear to be CJ-2A.
“I have a ’46 Jeep Willys MB. Everything is stock. Its been my project for quite some time. Its 4×4, flathead 4 cylinder manual 3 speed. I have done a lot of engine work. Replaced the spark plugs, spark plug wires, starter, alternator, regulator, front brakes, water pump, hoses, belts, etc.. It still needs work but the engine turns over and runs. It has a non op and i have the pink in hand. The body is straight but it needs a little bondo and paint. This is a true classic off road vehicle. I’m looking to see what else is out there for trades. I’d be interested in an older stepside or other 4×4. either project or running. If interested contact jamesw.bridges@yahoo.com”
1956 CJ-5 Port Angeles, Wa $1500

My Build: More Progress on the Cage
The cage is starting to take shape. It’s only tacked together at the moment and the ‘spreader bars’ between the front and back loop are still PVC. The lower of the spreader bars isn’t at the correct angle either, but the real bar should be in by tomorrow.
Hot Rod Shift Knobs
UPDATE: The site is temporarily offline due to a move. It should return shortly.
Are you looking for a Hot Rod Shift Knob? There are some unusual ones at HotRodShiftKnobs.com.
From the website, Welcome to Hot Rod Shift Knobs, where shifters go to find their perfect knob. I started this biz as a kustom car, hot rod and classic car lover, and opened my first store House O’ Speed. I thought there oughta be place where people with rat rods, traditional hot rods and just about anything in between could find unique shift knobs for their rides. Ceramic shift knobs, antique glass door knob shift knobs, pewter sand-cast shift knobs, glitter shift knobs, marbleized knobs, nostalgia knobs, vintage grenade shift knobs, skull knobs, shrunken head knobs, custom one-of-a-kind shifts knobs that are hand-painted using candies, metallics and high-end automotive finishes. You won’t find the run of the mill stuff here, folks….
Below are examples of their Frankenstein Knob options.
You can also see some really strange ones at Pirate 4×4’s Cool Shift Knobs thread.
