About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Overall this is a large package of stuff, lots of parts, the rig needs some work as does the trailer, but if your looking for a package of stuff take a look. There is also mention of breaking out the rig and trailer so never know. Posted 6 Weeks Ago.
Information from seller:
Vietnam era M151A@ Marine MUTT and M416 trailer. Starts, runs, drives, stops, everything works. Tons of new and used parts, Indiana title for MUTT bill of sale for trailer. May consider selling Mutt and trailer separate. Will not answer to “Is it still available” If the add is up it’s available.
Looks clean, one day will look up the progression of the Aero again, I did some work on that a while back with the models and release dates.

1962 Willys Jeep FC-170 DRW $15,000 Broadlands, IL ***SOLD***
***SOLD***
You are not building this for the price, I looked to see if we posted this prior or any other posting to get some background outside of this post. Just because it looks really nice and these are not always what we think they are. But overall it’s a nice build, buy and drive and be done with that endless project your never going to finish…. But I have many of those projects along with drivers so you can always have both. Just nicer to have a driver! I would pick this up if local. There are things it needs refreshed and worked on, and hard to say in the photos on the paint, but it’s worth a look if you are in the market.
Information from seller:
I have owned this truck since 2006. It started it’s life as a fire truck in Ohio. That is why the low miles. The body is in great shape, all rust is repaired. Here are the specs: Engine = 226 I6 L head Transmission = T 98A 4speed Transfer Case = Spicer 18 Front axle = Spicer 44F Rear axle = Spicer 70 The biggest problem with the truck is the linkage from the cab back to the transmission. I have fixed several things on the truck, but there will always be several more. The bed and hoist work great. I have been hauling 425 gals on it. Handles it great! Bed dimensions are 7 wide by 9 long. These trucks always have things that need repair. But this is one of the most complete FC170DRW’s you will find.
Project for sure, but been in the barn for a minute.
Update: Here is the Video from YouTube on this one…… Thanks guys for sharing…..
Information from seller:
1950 Willys Jeepster. This has been off the road since 1972, freshly pulled from the barn! This Willy’s is fairly original, the only major changes are tail lights and a notched rear gravel pan for different bumpers. Top was replaced in 69/70 and has held up extremely well! Drivetrain is all original, flathead six, and manual transmission with overdrive. Engine is tight but we haven’t spent any time trying to free it up but may break free up with some oiling. Body does have some rust and bubbling paint on the rocker area, but the doors open and close nicely and the floors look solid. We have the original tail lights, extra bumpers and stainless and side curtains. Title in hand.
Might be a good start to a project. Don’t think you can make much on the parts at this price so might want a vision for this one, that’s just my opinion never know its worth what folks are willing to pay. There is a lot here, just a lot of work to part stuff out at times for profit. It’s really solid so for folks on the East Coast there is a lot of value here for a project.
Information from seller:
1949 Jeep Wagoneer · Wagon · Driven 9,999 miles Willys Wagon. Extremely solid, nearly rust free body. Rolling chasis, no drive train. Drivers floorboard has a patch panel. Originally from Wyoming, has been stored under cover. A great starting point for your project! See all photos.
1952 Willys Overland Very cool Willys, spent majority of its life on the west coast. It is mostly original except for the farm bed and Chevy 350 motor that sounds great and gives it plenty of torque, very functional, lots of fun to drive! 49k miles are not actual Very solid frame and mostly rust free Chevy 350 is mildly built with Holley Carburator and an MSD distributor Original manual transmission Unique farm style bed Clean Indiana title Ready to drive as-is, enjoy as a weekend cruiser, or turn into a rat rod or mud toy. Asking 12,500, reasonable offers will be considered.
This truck has a hurricane 226 four-wheel-drive I have the auxiliary for overdrive three speed on the floor runs good drives good. The body is in good shape would make a great winter project for restoration
Seller is remote but vehicle sounds accessible. Just should do some due diligence there it ensure vehicle is all set to be purchased at times when seller is not with the vehicle. But this looks clean.
Information from seller:
M38a1 in decent shape. Has a minor bug preventing starting (timing? Or electrical Perhaps). Found original carb. Has original and solid state distributor. Lots of extras including new elec wipes and turn signal kits. Has been converted to 12 volt. HAS NEVER KNOWN SALT. kept in garage or wraped under canopy during winters. No longer live in maine. Is at my mechanic body is good etc should be easy rehab/project….make it worth not driving it to Alabama!
1961 Jeep Willy’s FC 170 cab over Original straight 6 cylinder engine, original 3 speed manual transmission (a Borg-Warner T90), with four wheel drive, and a power take-off underneath the bed. PTO functioned before parking it.
FJ-6 up for grabs, the FJ-3 / FJ-3A is a little more desirable I feel, but I don’t know. That is the earlier version, then you have the FJ-6A which is like this one but has the funky glass like the FJ-3A. But its worth exactly what someone will pay for it. Yes that rear wheel is like that, this one is especially forward looking in the pictures, not sure what exactly got messed up on the design there. Maybe they were slated for a longer chassis that never came to be.
Information from seller:
I have a 1966 jeep mail box van clear title runs but will need brake work and electrical work If you notice the rear end dose not look like it is centered in the wheel well. Well its not, but that is they way it was made. Solid no rust right hand drive. ready to be made into ice cream truck coffee truck.
Needs some stuff but you don’t see a ton of these, very hard to find the parts and pieces for these, but that’s the fun at times. I did not locate that funky mount on the back of the rig in any other photos easily, I looked at a bunch. These can be very specific parts at times.
