About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“1953 Willys Overland, with plow.
Been in my family since 1963 (have bill of sale from then) and was in running condition 25 years ago when i parked it in my garage. My grandfather used it to plow his very long driveway. I started a restoration in the 1980’s but never finished.
Its been sitting outside now for about 6 years and I am too old at this point to restore it.
Asking $3000 or best offer”
“Old Willys, it has the original flat head The motor was rebuilt and at the most it had 5000 miles on it it has just been parked , it would make a great project car I would trade it for and older motor home or a car that runs good as well”
Rust free tub, nice and straight. Some small damage on the passenger side (see photo). The frame is not boxed.
Strong 289. Cammed and stroked to 305. Holley TA-II carb. Dual Flowmasters.
Original 3-speed Transmission and D18 Xfer case.
I have a NP435 and Novak adapter kit to mate with a D20 transfer case. Rebuild kits for both, new 6 spline main shaft for the transmission, and new input gear for the transfer case. Everything is there to build it out and hook it up to the D44’s. The transmission was rebuilt for a 2wd, so it will need to be redone to mate with the transfer case.
Frame horns extended and shackles reversed. Saginaw steering already swapped in.
EZ Wire 12 fuse mini kit. (I don’t think they offer this kit anymore). The wiring is not finished, but the engine wiring is roughed in and it will run. New alternator and relay, fusible link etc… Continue reading →
This photo of an unusual Ford GPA/jeep build has appeared in several places on Facebook, but appears to have been originally posted to the Forgotten Oregon Facebook Group. The photo was taken in Vernonia, Oregon, in 1967. The 1943 Ford GPA was modified by Brad Garner’s father. The shop next to The Jeep is the Vernonia Eagle newspaper office.
“1947 Willys CJ2. I got this 5 years ago and haven’t done much to it. It has a rebuilt carb, new gas lines, new gas tank, tires are a two years old and has a lot of life left, new ignition, added a overfill tank for the radiator, and redone the wiring. All lights work( headlights, tail lights and brake lights). Seat were done before I got it. Rhino lined the floor. Nothing special about the paint. We got it for my youngest son to do car shows. Never been trailered aways drove it to the shows with no problem. 100+ round trip miles. No longer interested in shows and hate to see it just sit. Use it now once a week to go fishing. Comes with a lot of parts don’t know much about them got them when I got the jeep. Title is clean and clear”
