About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

(10/31/2021) This has a replacement tub and some other updates (though this M-38 looking tub appears to have a battery box hole? It also includes a Knox trailer.
“CJ2A Repli-tub and 1940s Knox Trailer Included in this bundle is: -All steel Replica Tub (Not a cheap Fiberglass one) -Boxed in CJ2A Frame -Steel fenders and grill -Fiberglass Hood (Had been cut out for an air cleaner by previous owner) -Full Rollcage (Needs to be bolted/welded on) -Seats from a 73 CJ5 (Not yet installed) -1940s Knox Utility Trailer (Will be cleaned out before being sold) —There is no engine, no transmission, no transfercase, no steeringbox, no drivelines—
There is no vin plate for the Replitub, you would need to apply for a VIN/Serial Number through the State (Utah TC-162 Application Form) in order to road register this after you build it. Alternatively, it could be build as an Off-Road vehicle without that process. I would be happy to assist you with that process if needed. I have a poilce VIN inspection for the Jeep stating that no VIN was found on the tub or the frame by the officer”
Here’s a good bit of history on the efforts to create a wood body for the WWII jeep. This group built a wood body replica, which, given the lack of specific info, was a good challenge. Check out the finished body using the link below:

“For sale is 1946 Willys CJ-2A serial number 94602. The jeep retains all of its factory frame and body tags as well as the original engine and drivetrain. The jeep has a valid NC title, the engine turns over freely and the trans and tcase shift through the gears properly. The body is in good shape overall for its age, saved by the top and being stored indoors. The areas that need attention are shown in the photos. This 2A is a wonderful example of a survivor and will make someone a great driver and/or restoration project.
