About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
1947 Jeep Willys – Sport Utility 📍 [Bassett, VA] For sale is a classic 1947 Jeep Willys. This belonged to my father and was passed down to me. It has been sitting in a field for over a year, covered under a tarp. Please understand: I do not know the full mechanical history of this Jeep, so I cannot answer detailed questions about the engine, transmission, or drivetrain. Please schedule an appointment with me to see vehicle. Serious inquiries only. • Year: 1947 • Make: Willys • Model: Jeep Sport Utility • Transmission: Manual • Drive: 4×4 Details: • Original flat-fender body, solid frame • Top and doors included • Tow/winch setup mounted on the front • Rolls and steers, tires hold air • Will need full restoration before it’s road-ready This is a strong candidate for a collector’s restoration, a military tribute build, or a vintage off-road project. If you’re looking for a rare Willys to bring back to life, this is a solid base. 💰 Asking $5,500 OBO
Posting per the seller for the year, grill looks later, so not super super early is my thinking. But a Title is just a piece of paper so if it says 1945 and is legit it is what it is, on Paper. Says OBO.

Headlight buckets from a 1953 Willys Aero. The wiring will need redone, but the headlight connectors are there. The chrome trim rings are in good condition.
1978 Jeep Wrangler – 39k Miles Here’s a true blast from the past – a 1978 Jeep CJ-5 with only 39,000 miles showing, a 4-speed manual, classic inline engine, and 4×4 that still kicks into gear like it should. If you’re looking for that raw, mechanical driving feel that only an old-school Jeep can deliver, this thing nails it. AMC 3.8L Inline 6 4 Speed Manual 4×4 On The Floor Clean Title This CJ fires right up, moves under its own power, and has all the bones of a solid vintage rig. It’s far from perfect, but that’s part of the charm — a little rough around the edges and full of character, just the way an old Jeep ought to be. It’s not a show truck, but it’s a fun and functional survivor. Would make a killer trail rig, beach cruiser, or light restoration project for someone who appreciates vintage Jeeps. 🏷️ $6,500 🏷️ V A D L R

Joe sent over this nice looking CJ3A that he saw locally and was able to go and inspect the vehicle and it looks really nice, its listed OBO so probably has some room here and I would agree its on the higher range for today’s market.
Thanks Joe for sending this over!
Notes from Joe:
Noticed this 1950 CJ3A for sale on the road side that you may want to post. I checked it out and it’s pretty solid, no major leaks, pretty complete, and body work is kind a crude but effective. It runs an drives well.
