About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Note: Seller states that the seats were reupholstered, and the number 806279-W12 stamped on the engine block indicates that it is a Willys F-Head “Hurricane” F1-134 block, commonly used in a M38A1 military Jeep.

It has been on eWillys back in 2023 and 2024, he got it in a multi rig deal and wants to move this one on.
Looking over our past M677 offerings, I know they are not common rigs, but there are quite a few out there so parts should be available to get this one going from the other FC options out there. Obviously going back to say a Cerlist Diesel is most likely out of the question, if that is what this was. Lots of Willys options out there to keep this a Willys powered rig.
Please check this one out if you are in the market.
Information from seller:
It was previously listed on your website and I recently came into possession of it as part of a two truck deal, but simply do not need it. It is serial number 10381. It doesn’t have an engine or transmission. Being sold with Bill of Sale, no title. I checked with the previous two owners and neither one had a title. Vehicle is located in Lancaster, SC. I do have a topper for it but it is currently 1.5 hours away. The price is $7500.
Email us at post@ewillys.com for more information and I can make the connection.
1948 Jeep CJ2a · Truck · Driven 300 miles 1948 Willy’s Overland Jeep CJ2a…outfitted with a rare option back (Manley Tow Boom)..restored approx. 15 years ago..nice little antique to put around town…no trades
These look neat for the FC Collector. There was a whole entire line of Promotional cuff link and tie clips for Willys that was out there. eWillys has a many posts on the stuff. There were a bunch of Ash Trays made with the FC on them. So neat items for sure. There were at least 3 to 4 other postings with these FC Cuff Links over the years, so they are out there just have to keep digging. But I do agree they do not appear to be commonly available items.
Extremely rare Willys FC-150 cuff links and tie clip set. Circa 1960’s. A true collectors item for the Jeep enthusiasts and lovers of the unique Forward Control vehicle! You probably will never see another set!!! I’ve looked…. Excellent condition! Available for pickup..
Bed has been sandblasted, needs a floor, just rusty after being blasted very straight includes a tailgate needs to center corrugated floor replaced. No rot through anywhere Located in Tom’s River, New Jersey $650 or b/o
57 Wagon, has a lot here looks pretty complete but has some typical rust areas, it’s rough in spots, but good in others. The bottom tailgate maybe it was in the down position or even in the back of the rig the patina is off there but it looks original paint.
When you start to zoom into some of these pictures the things like the front rubber carper kit look original, seats are there in the front, the correct Speedo. Bumpers, wheels, hubs, interior parts, door handles all the way around. Trim looks complete, except recently someone picked the 4 Wheel Drive off the hood, I would ask them for those never know. But not super hard to get those.
Under the hood is a 226 with looks to be new plugs maybe, but the coil looks like they were trying to figure that part out. The horns look legit and are the dual note with the correct bracket for those. So when you dig in there is a lot here, but it’s a complete project at the same time.
Exhaust is flexible, there are remnants of a roof rack as well.
I like it.
While looking around trying to work on these pictures I ran across the Secure Purchase option that was listed on this one and that might be something to look into when buying a Willys, I quickly read through the deal, and it also seems like a great way to purchase a vehicle. This seller for example has a great rating as well, those are things that other places lack, some a lot more then others. But I feel you still cannot let your guard down when buying old rigs. One key area is to understand your States titling process and requirements, you will want to have that process down to make sure you have the ability to use this how you would like to.
Serial number was provided with this one, easy lift here to decode what’s shown:
5416825083
541 = Wagon
6 = 226 6 Cylinder
8 = 4WD
25083 = Serial Number puts this right at the end of ’56 and with everything shown makes perfect sense for a ’57. The S/N tracks the MFG dates not the year the rig was physically Titled. As most know these are all pre 17 Digit vin codes kinda could do what you wanted back then on the MFG Side.

1950 Willys Truck Body $1,500 Olean, NY ***SOLD***
SOLD
Wow what a collection of original parts here on this one, too late it went fast, but from the looks of it there was a lot here to start with.
Door Handles, Drivers side view mirror with the mount!, Looks like the license plate mount is there, hood spear, bed, steps, spare tire carrier, passenger door echelon, dome light, seat. Gauges with the ignition switch and light switch looks there. Grill and all of its parts and pieces, the sheet metal in general looks pretty good for what this all is. Cool find, would be nicer as a driver!
