Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This has a rear PTO and a serial number of 295XX (can’t read the last two digits).
“Willy’s Jeep CJ2A, 1st year for civilian Jeep. Complete and untouched by modification. 134L motor is damaged from leaking head gasket on rear cylinder. 6 volt system is still functional. Rear PTO is intact with optional belt drive included. Body is still in great shape as is drivetrain.”

“1946 CJ2A Jeep. Runs, drives, stops. Motor is rebuilt, >1000miles ago. .030 overbore. Crank is NOS with new rod and main bearings. All motor and drivetrain is intact and works. Has been converted to 12v but I have the generator/regulator for 6v. Also included is tow bar (I never used). Body has some rough spots but is solid. I used for transportation to and from truck shows and hotel. I am moving and not going to take it with me. Please be serious if you make contact”

Has a solid looking Kelly half-cab. Looks like it has a VEC body.

“1946 Willys Cj2A. Very good condition, especially for being 74 years old she’s less wore out than me. I’ve had her a couple of years and have put on a new electronic distributor, full suspension, shocks and springs, Rugged Ridge front lockers, fuel pump, fuel gauge sender, spare tire, Hi Lift jack, bimini top, 130 c.i. “Go Devil” engine, tires in good condition. Starts and runs great! After WWII when the boys came home they wanted a Jeep like they had over seas. Here it is.
All new parts are from Kaiser Willys parts and accessories. Very few scratches and dents. The only rust is under the passenger seat in the built in tool box bottom that can catch and hold water.
If you are looking for a way restorable old Jeep this is a good way to go. If you call, please leave a message I don’t answer unknown numbers but will call you back. Please no lowballs or trades. And yes, the VIN is 27236!”
UPDATE: The Trailer has sold.
This lacks tool indents, but has full floaters and a column shift. It could be a ’45 or a ’46.
