This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (07/12/2015) This has full floaters in the rear. Could be quite early.
“1946 Jeep Willis – Almost completely restored. The jeep runs and drives like a New one. Heck it should. All it needs now is a few cosmetic improvements. Really hate to sell it but due to unforeseen circumstances I have to. Asking 6500 Obo. Call”
It’s been modified, but has the potential to be restored back to an early VEC.
“New tires, top, radiator and fuel tank. 4WD in good working condition, heater works, engine runs good. This is a rare one!, the 1,523rd of 1824 made in 1945. Matching serial number plates on body and frame. It has been to converted to 12V.”

It’s very rough, but does appear to have a VEC windshield.
“I have a 40’s model Willys CJ-2A. I purchased it a couple months back and ended up buying another Jeep last week that I am going to use instead of this one. Jeep is complete minus tailgate, seats, and a carb. Was told it ran from previous owner. No title but a title can be had by filing antique with SCDMV. Jeep has rust in floors and the tub. It is repairable. Frame is good. All original drivetrain is in tact.”

Jay spotted this one. It’s listed as a 1949. It’s missing the column shift and the early windshield, so this might be a mix of parts.

Jay spotted this one. Listed as a 1943 Military Jeep, this looks to me more like an early CJ-2A.
