About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I have a fiberglass willies with small block Chevy and turbo 400 transmission motor has a knock believe something is wrong with transfer case also great body great potential to be made a racer again or used as parts 1200 or best offer trades considered Motorhead and Hunter let me know what you got text me 1802 376 7654”
It’s a project. That could be a Bobcat Fiberglass body.
“This is a 1946 Willy’s CJ2-A. frame is solid has been re-enforced. Fiberglass tub and fenders. Medal hood and grille. Have a truck load of parts that go with this jeep. Started as a project three years ago and haven’t touched it in a while. Motor ran good when I started working on it. Has a ton of new parts. All new brakes, lines master and wheel cylinders. Many many parts go with this jeep including two engine blocks cranks and two spare transmissions. It has chrome wheels and radial tires. Also have all four original jeep wheels in great shape. Asking $1,500 for EVERYTHING come take it all. Lot more invested.”
This fiberglass bodied jeep includes an overdrive. It hasn’t been touched in a while, but there appears to be value here.
“53 Willys Jeep. Project. Set up for small Chevy. 3 speed manual tranny. Dana 18 with Warn O/D. Fiberglass body. Stock Dana axles. Stock Willys frame. Has not ran in probably decades. Purchased by my late Father in the early 90’s, and put where it sits. Original Vin plate intact. Hasn’t been tagged since 1988. Definitely a project. Will NOT part out.
Was told the little Chevy in it, is a 327. But I have no way to confirm it. If interested, you would need to come look at it. Like I said, it’s a project. It’s being sold as is. Have not been able to find the title, but I am looking. It existed at one time. $1000 obo. The Vin alone is worth….”
“I have a Fiberglass jeep body from Malotte that has never been used. Fiberglass is in great condition and is the race model so its very light. Jeep body is already pre-cut to be lengthened in the right areas, but you can just use the stock lengths as well if you don’t want to do that. Body has never been painted.
First $350 obo gets this unused race jeep body
This body costs over double that new”
(02/18/2013) I believe the body is fiberglass and the front clip is metal. This has a rear PTO I believe, too.
“This Willys Jeep is ready to go anywhere, has the original 4 cylinder godevil in it, PTO works great, 2 new front seats, new tires, front half original, rear half fiberglass, it looks great and runs great lots of fun to drive and gets thumbs up every where we go, Is converted to a 12 volt system. asking 8500, clear title in hand, Thanks.”
“I have a set of fiberglass flat fenders for a Willy’s flat fender jeep. Works on all flat fenders such as cj2a cj3a etc. Hood will not work on a cj3b obviously. All mounting holes are already drilled. Ready for paint and install. Call or email. Steven 253 732 2363. Asking $50 Obo.”
This looks like a great price. I’d like to know who made that body. It has an extra wide lip like the later bobcats, but the step cuts in like a more standard body.
“Fiberglass CJ2A complete Jeep body have extra front fender no hood”
