About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Hard top 1960 Jeep Willys. 4 cylinder gas engine. Winch on front and side spare tires. All the tires are in great shape. Great for the collector. Needs minimal engine work and body work a great fixer upper.”
“1955 Willys Jeep
Original – Hurricane 134 4 cylinder motor, 3 speed manual transmission, 6 volt electrical system
Rebuild project – Needs new floors and engine has not been started for some time.
Have title.”
This looks a lot like the Beck/Kemco top, but the top of the back is angled rather than flat (see bottom pic). I couldn’t find a comparable top to identify it. It’s a good price.
“Get your CJ2A ready for some cool weather driving! For sale is a Arctic top for a CJ2A. Includes two full doors with working windows and a back window that lifts and locks. Priced way below what you normal find them for – only $100.”
Both these jeeps have an unusual hardtop. At least one of these is a 2A.
“forsale a pair of willies army Jeeps projects, one has a pretty nice body no engine, the other is pretty rough has engine, both fixable, title for the one with the good body, bill of sale for the other one. $2000.00 are best offer”
“I have for sale a 1948 jeep. It’s been sitting in a barn for 15-20 years so it is a project. Or would be great for parts. It has 129,997 original miles. It ran before being put away. Has a rare hardtop. Typical rust such as floorboards and rockers. Would make a great farm truck or something to restore for parades.
Asking $800 HAS A TITLE!
Can haul within reason”
Marty checked out this jeep yesterday. He was most curious about the hardtop and got a bunch of photos of it for us. He believes the hardtop was a custom creation, but well done. The curves and drain edge are a nice touch, too. As for the CJ-2A, there’s not much left. The seller believes there is plenty of value, but Marty smartly disagreed.
