Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. If this is from a 1948, it must not have fit it very well. Looks like it is possibly a Kelly Bonanza III hardtop from the late 1960s.

The price listed is $25,000, however maybe it is supposed to be $2500? It looks like it is a lefty. It has a DJ-3A hardtop (CJ-5s has the side windows in the top).

(08/12/2020) Marty spotted this rare (only one of two according to the seller) Krisit Company KT-4G Snow Cat. It uses a CJ-5 body with a Meyer hardtop.
