About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This looks like a pretty complete Mutt that’s in very good shape. Might be a good price.

This is a great M151, fun to drive around town. Vehicle is not recommended for speeds over 45 mph.
Will be great for driving in your local parade or cruising on the weekends.

(06/24/2013) Given it doesn’t look like there was any gas filler on the driver’s side, I’m not sure what body this is front. Maybe DJ or repro? Looks like a nice build.

“1948 Willys cj2a. The Jeep is very nice and can be enjoyed as is or restored. Engine recently rebuilt. Great running condition. $6000 obo or trade for newer Polaris atv or small tractor loader. This is a great investment Jeep as they are getting harder to find. If you have a lot of land or a camp site this is the perfect toy.”
We believe we are the 4th owner only in it’s life. The mileage is approximately 77,800 original miles with the original engine. Does it have character yes but runs and drives great. Top end is about 50 mph and will run all day.
It has been converted to 12v and this winter we did the following
– Brake Pads, Rotors, Calipers, Hoses, & Steel Lines
– Spark Plugs & Wires
– Ingnition & Coil
– Distributor Cap & Rotor
– Lots of Gaskets and Seals
– Transfer Case Oil Pan
– Choke and Throttle
– Steering Stabilizer
– New Guages (except for odometer)
We have the original rims for the smaller tires if you want them. Comes with a bikini top and a soft top. The best news is those areas where it normally has rust has NONE. Nothing in the wheel wells and not even any in the tool box. The original paint has been painted over as it was originally the deep harvest red. The rest has all the character that makes this Willys so popular. “

Exceptions: Generator changed to an alternator, 12 volt system, ignition system upgraded, overdrive unit added to transfer case, military style taillights still in place, but, civilian type taillights have added. Vacuum wipers have been replaced with electric. Military seats have been replaced with civilian. Original military wheels and tires have been replaced with civilian. Non-military top and roll bar installed. Some chrome trim.
