About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“This is a 1951 Willys Overland.
Last year it was modified by previous owner:
year 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe Engine (V8 Vortec)
year 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe Front Suspension
year 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe Disk brakes up front, drum brakes back
It´s in really good shape, runs great, feels much safer and steadier than before, and has no rust. It´s no longer a 4×4 and it is rear wheel drive.
This Jeep Overland is a Mexican car with a clean title, and will be legally imported to the U.S through San Diego if a buyer is found. I can also arrange for the truck to be shipped anywhere in U.S at buyer´s´expense.”
“1942 GPW, the Ford license-produced Willys MB of WWII. As you can see, this GPW is well-restored but the work is about 13 years old. It has been well-stored and used monthly for re-enactments and living history events. The restoration was frame-off. Engine idles smoothly and maintains 30 lbs oil pressure. The jeep drives very nice. Frame and original data plate match title, but the engine is a later war GPW serial number. There is some minor corrosion around various parts/pieces which is visible in photographs. Mileage is an estimate. There are a number of extra items that come with the jeep, parts and accessories, and we will show those to prospective buyers when meeting.”
“RARE CJ 6 1972 you don’t see the long wheel base very often and here is one in good condition. 131000 actual miles with factory 401cid motor. 4speed manual, extended roll bar over back seat, soft top in fair to good condition. tow package, cloth seats and bench back seat, good tires and ready to take on the summer fun. Magnum 9K winch will pull down a house. Handi jack, spare tire and gas can mounted all included.”
“Rebuilt T-90 transmission and
re-end. New front axel, brakes, brake lines, master cylinder, tires rims, exhaust, wiring harness, shocks, windshield glass and sets. Radiator has been rebuilt as well. Motor has not been rebuilt but runs great. All gauges work as well.”
“I have the itch to start a new project and need garage space. I limped this ’74 CJ 6 home about five years ago and started out to freshen it up, but ended up doing a body off restoration. The body work and paint were professionally done. The frame was painted, and I had a custom roll bar and front bumper made. They are powder coated. It has the original I-232 and three speed transmission. Most everything else has been replaced. Steering box, Borgeson shaft, heavy duty springs, stainless custom bent brake lines, new drum brakes, gas tank, ignition coil, Weber carb, high capacity alternator, radiator, Speed Hut aluminum gauges, painless wiring harness, Corbeau seats, custom canvas top, warn m8000 winch, custom steel wheels, BF Goodrich all terrain LT265/75/R16 tires, custom receiver hitches front and rear, hilift jack, and on and on.
It drives and tracks better than new. I tried to keep the look as original as possible, and it would be fairly easy to take it all back to stock. I have saved most of the salvageable parts. I will wipe the pollen off and take prettier pics this weekend.”
