About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(06/04/2015) This might be worth a look. Seller has rear PTO for additional money.
“1947 CJ2A Jeep universal. Older restoration with hardly any aftermarket parts. Redone as from factory; correct wheels for the year, correct air cleaner system, marker and taillight placement, winged thumb bolts on windshield, vacuum wiper, 6-volt system, etc. I have a rear PTO, gear box and the drive shaft, plus a front, frame inserted winch for an additional cost.”
“1954 Willy’s CJ3B. It has new tires (including spare), new shocks, brakes redone, new brake cables. It has been converted to a 12 volt system. It has the original transmission, engine, and body. The roll bar, seats, and steering wheel are not original. Newer tires in like new condition! Also includes tow bar as shown! Very well maintained and in great clean shape! Must see! Odometer shows just over 7000 miles, no documentation but believed to be original as these are not your family vacation highway cruiser, but more of a fun getaway on the trails on the weekend type of vehicle”
“Willys Overland wartime production with professionally rebuilt “Go Devil” engine, complete with new carburetor and refurbished fuel tank. Olive drab base coat and multiple parts make this World War II classic ready for your own finishing touches.”
“1954 M38A1 Frame Off restoration completed in 2012.
All original except that turn signals have been fitted, Gamma Goat tail lights, M151 front indicators.
The .30 CAL is a replica.
Full set of Beechwood canvas, the only thing I don’t have is door frames.
1952 M100 trailer is an Allied Dunbar, fully restored and complete.
$17,000 obo
(Would consider part exchange for WWII military vehicle.)”
“Selling a 1959 Jeep FC170 4×4 cab over truck super rare! Jeep is in really good condition! New paint. New custom bed. New front bumper off a 2015 Jeep Wrangler. New wheels and tires. New brakes all the way around including master cylinder, wheel cylinders, pads, e-brake cable, rear brake lines. All new fluids. Engine is a Willys Super Hurricane 226 straight 6 flathead based off the Ford Flathead that runs great backed by a 3spd manual transmission. 4WD works great. 4.88 gears in rear Dana 50 and front Dana 44. The Jeep is slow but great for off road. Great driver right now, I drive it a few times every week. Needs a back window which is easy because its flat but have the window seal. Gets looks every time I drive it, everyone loves it. Looking to buy a house and selling this would make a good down payment or I would keep it. Jeep is almost all original except the bed and front bumper. Been trying to keep it as original as possible. Great for driving around town and showing off at car shows.”
(06/09/2015) The hood modification gives it a meaner look.

This is a 4×4 Jeep however the 4×4 is not present. Original differential therefore max speed is currently at around 55MPH. Buyer can easily install 4×4, leave differential and go off roading OR can change differential in order to get higher MPH……Your Choice.
Great opportunity to get yourself a rare jeep. Clean CA title on hand along with registration and NEW tags good through 2016. ”
“This is a running, well maintained, 1946 CJ2A that I’ve owned since 1968, and kept it garaged. The speedo has always worked since I’ve owned it and I believe mileage is accurate at 78,766. No front end shimmy. Title is clear. The doors are easily removed by pushing out the hinge pins and the rear upper gate removes like a storm window. the entire cab can be removed by unscrewing four large wing nuts around the back, and two j-Bolts holding the roof to windshield frame. Price includes lots of new and used parts.
EI: Clutch and pressure plates, front axels, U-Joints, Carburetor, differential (New still in cosmoline), windshield wiper vacuum motor, new in the box sealed beam headlight, complete military shop manual, tie rods and ends, water pumps and much more….”
“Fully restored ’51 CJ2A Willys. Frame off restoration. New body and front fenders. Converted to 12 volt ignition system. Has lockout hubs, and high range gear for highway driving. I’m moving and can’t take it with me.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Chris sold this locally. Was $15,000.
“Regretfully selling my beloved 1959 Willys Jeep CJ5. This Jeep has been 100% disassembled and restored to original condition. All steel body with absolutely no rust whatsoever. Frame was sandblasted and painted with POR-15, and every detail has been taken care of.
Here is all the information…
THE GOOD
Fully restored 100%
All steel body. Painted in President Red (the original color) using base coat/clear coat and hand polished to a mirror shine
Original engine and drive train — F-head 4 cyl engine with 3 speed manual transmission, 4 wheel drive with high/low range
Beautifully upholstered seats matching the original style, color, and stitching
Kept as original as possible down to the vacuum wiper motor (passenger wiper is manual)
5 brand new radial tires
Completely rewired using reproduction original style wiring harness
Everything mechanical has been gone through and rebuilt or replaced
Draws a crowd at car shows and parking lots
Seat belts were added, although not required by law.
Kept it as original as I could. The only modernization or customization I did was the use of stainless hardware for appearance, radial tires, and Petronix electronic ignition conversion.
Extensive research went into making this as original as possible. Research revealed the correct color of the paint, the windshield frame (semi-gloss black), the upholstery, and even the headlight buckets. Every possible attempt was made to make this as perfect an example of an original 1959 Willys CJ5 as humanly possible. Continue reading →
