Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. 1960 Willys Wagon, completely rebuild 289 with only 500 miles. Rebuild transmission and transfer case also with 500 miles, new leaf springs w/ 1″ lift, new brakes and wheel seals, all front end bushing replaced. New radiator with elec. fan, new wiper motor. Runs and drives excellent, current registration. Drive it home. No rust”

“1946 Willys Jeep CJ-2A. Red. All stock. Runs well. $14k invested. All receipts kept in binder and listed on spreadsheet. All work performed by former professional mechanic. Lots of value here. Has clean, restorable body; underbody in good condition. Clean title – pink slip in hand. Currently registered ‘non-op’ and uninsured. “1953 M38A1 Willys military Jeep, runs great. Lots of fun to drive. Four wheel drive works, low range works. Many new parts, many spare parts. Service manual and soft top with doors included. Original data plates, very little rust – passenger side floor board only. Has the flat head Willys go devil engine, T90 transmission, Dana 18 transfer case, Dana 25 front axle and Dana 44 rear axle. Was converted to 12volt system. Clear title in hand. Had tags and registration for awhile and drove it around town, it draws lots of looks. I don’t seem to have the time to take it out much, and hate to let it just sit in the garage. Would love to see someone continue to enjoy and take care of this rare piece of American history.”

“This truck was converted to it’s present Resto-rod condition using a Chevy Blazer running gear mated to the original Willys frame. It is a great conversion that gets a great deal of attention.
This truck drives fantastic at Interstate speeds.
The renewed interior and carpet is very good with the exception of the racing style bucket seats. The seats were new three years ago, however, the Arizona sun has over baked the fabric. The cushions are in good shape, but the fabric is beyond fixing. New seat covers will be needed.
The paint is in very good condition and looks great up close. Not a 20 footer. It should do well at car shows.”

“1954 Willy’s Military Jeep M38A1, Clean title, matching numbers.
I have a 54 M38A1 Military Jeep for sale. It has 20,000 original miles on the body and less than 2,000 on original rebuilt motor. I have gone through everything on the Jeep. I have owned it since 1986 but I don’t get to use it much anymore so I decided to sell it instead of letting it sit, when someone else could be driving it and having a good time. Hot August Nights is just around the corner.

“I am selling my 1947 Jeep Willys. Body is remanufactured and is in awesome shape. Jeep runs and drives but could still benefit from a carb cleaning and minor brake work. I have only driven this twice in the past two years so I am looking for someone who will take care of it and give it a good home. I just have too many toys! “1946 CJ2A Willys complete frame off restoration. Motor,transmission,transfer,axles ,brakes and brake lines completely rebuilt. Upgrades are 12 volt system,electronic ignition,saginaw steering,dual master brake and scout brake drums. All gauges ,upholstery,radiator,electronics and wiring are new. It has overdrive and rear PTO and original heater all newly rebuilt. There is no part of this jeep that has not been restored. The frame and body has 2 coats of epoxy primer has been seam sealed and painted. There is also a new soft top and doors that has been fitted to the Jeep and all holes drilled before painting. The top is new in the box.”
