This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “have a new 46 cj2. frame off restoration. new 134- 4 cyl eng. new carb,gear reduction starter,electronic ign.,delco alternator,roll cage with bikini top, 2 sets of wheels & tires,16 in wheels with like new tires,all new brakes& cylinders, new U-joints front to back., painted ome 46 willy’s green.”

“Rare and interesting Foward Control Willys 1 ton truck with a 9′ cargo box. Inline six “Hurricane” engine and T-98 four-speed trans. 5:38 gear ratio 4 x 4 + Hi-Low transfer case and PTO winch. Said to be an ex-government truck.
Truck has been restored by an unknown party but appears to be a frame-off. Everything is redone top to bottom. Frame and running gear are clean and freshly painted. Interior is amazing, with fresh vinyl everywhere and even a complete headliner. Needs new door seals. (Available). Has new floor mats. New tires on coated rims. New gas tank. Must have been a ton of money spent on this.
Over $2000. in recent work by me with complete new brakes and tune-up, carb rebuild, etc. Has new electric wiper system that works perfectly. The body is very sraight and I can’t find a hint of rust anywhere, but there was a problem with paint prep, and the new paint is coming off. Will need prep and paint to be perfect.”

“For Sale – 1962 Willys 4 wheel drive pick-up. Has a 6 cyl hurricane engine and 3 speed manual transmission. Recent full frame off restoration with new bed. New interior. Almost everything mechanical is new or rebuilt. All original except electric wipers and modern radio/cd. Truck has overdrive, and cruises easily at highway speed. 18,000.”

“1952 Willy’s Jeep Forest fire truck;
This is a unique fire truck in that it is a Willy’s Jeep AND easily fits in your garage! Former military unit (ex Marines, I believe). Runs and drives great- needs some TLC for the true Willy’s Jeep detail. It appears to be “shop built” either by military or a fire dept. as a fire pumper, but used a “Barton” front mount 500 gpm conversion kit of the day. The side compartments are ex-ammo boxes!

I purchased this 1951 Willys CJ-3A from a Willys enthusiast in Prescott, Arizona. At the time, I planned to buy a cabin in Prescott and store it there, to enjoy on weekends. My plans changed, and the Willys is in my garage in Phoenix. I am not able to use it like I planned. I love the little thing and don’t have to sell it, but someone should own it who can use and enjoy it as these vehicles were meant to be used and enjoyed.
