About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I’m selling a very rare 1958 Jeep FC-170! You might only ever see one or two of these in your life. They’re super cool and great fun to drive. I’ve listed this before but the motor was misfiring, turns out it needed a rebuilt carb. I spent $1000 making it a daily driver and now it’s as reliable as any other (1958) truck =)
Runs like a champ, I’m driving it everyday while the weather is nice.
Anyway, shoot me an email with a picture of ANYTHING you have to trade. This Jeep is literally the 15 or 16th secondary ride I’ve owned so I’m interested in anything with a motor and at least 2 wheels.
I love old trucks, and Volkswagens. VW Bus preferred.”
(11/18/2013) Not sure what makes this “One of a Kind”, but it does look in good condition.
“One of a kind….1954 Willy’s Jeep, completely rebuilt, registered, insured and ready to drive away…This was my Dad’s pet project and he spent lots of time and money in fixing this jeep to great condition. Unfortunately he can no longer drive and has decided to sell. $14,500.00 is well worth the vehicle. More pictures and information available upon request.”
(10/04/2013) The seller is quoting NADA, so he/she likely expects to get a lot.
“Very rare to find one with no rot and runs excellent; Motor redone and transmission is tight. Trade for? What do you have to trade? track hoe, backhoe, 4×4 tractor with extras or? N.A.D.A. value in average cond. is $10 to $11k and this is the nicest one I have seen that has not been redone.

“I regretfully must sell my truck, I am in college and can’t afford to take it back with me after thanksgiving. No reasonable offer will be refused. This truck runs and drives well. I put about 2 grand into fixing it up. Now I know why I am broke. I have documentation of work done. Has a new exhaust system from midas and under warranty among many other improvements. I have driven this truck 150 miles non stop from Alexandria to Harrisonburg many a time and has yet to fail me. I have put about 2,500 miles on it since it bought it. Of course its not perfect and has its old car issues, but nonetheless, it moves and stops when you want it to. Nothing screams sex more than a 15 foot long, 5,000 pound, carbureted beast of years past. may consider trade for a running vehicle.
This vehicle is currently registered and insured and was safety inspected in August 2013, has Alexandria windshield tax decal and finally a clear Virginia title in my name. Exempt from annual emissions inspection!Take the keys (and title) and drive away!
Feel free to call or text or email

“1947 jeep willy’s cj2a. Buick 225 with 4 barrel carb, headers, bran new radiator. Full roll cage, custom aluminum dash. I built this jeep to do all kinds of wheeling. It does great on the rubicon or similar rock crawling trails. Does well in the snow and mud, Or cruising the dunes or just cruising the back roads. It’s unstoppable goes any where, and it’s street leagal. No rust on it always garage well taken care of. No problem running at hwy speeds holds 65 mph all day long going up hill. But idles perfect for rock crawling, with the granny gear and 4:88 gears. Stays at 600 rpm’s and won’t stall out. I’ve never broken an axel or u joint in this jeep. In the sand and mud it has plenty of power and you don’t run at excessive rpm’s. the trany and gears are matched great for on and off road use. The motor runs great never have had a problem with it. It also has custom power steering. There’s a lot of extras on this jeep. A lot of time and money went into this willy’s I don’t wont to sell. But new baby is forcing me to sell my loss your gain. Wayne points out that the skid plate was optional. This is one nice Renegade (though an imperfect restoration to stock). My only question about this is the lack of the protective skid plate underneath the gas tank that bolts between the back of the frame and the cross member in front of the tank (something my 1973 CJ-5 had). (here’s a stainless steel version of what I mean)
“This week Canyon State Classics brings to market an awesome example of a 1974 Jeep CJ-5 Renegade in stunning condition inside and out. This Jeep was bought brand new at Galloway Motors on October 3rd, 1973 by Mr. Thomas Payne of Tucson. This Jeep has Southwest desert area its whole life and is completely solid and rust-free, and still retains its all original steel tub with no patch work. This little CJ has just come out of the collection of a 35 year Jeep dealer and expert who just recently completed a full frame off restoration on this gorgeous CJ-5. He stated that he believes the miles are original at under 40k, as he knows the Jeep was off the road for the better part of 25 years before the restoration. The vehicle has been carefully restored to like new condition!”
