Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1952 Willy’s Jeep with matching trailer
Owner’s family no longer uses the Willy’s for family summer camping trips. Very well restored and maintained. Receipts for EVERYTHING ever purchased or done to the vehicle. New drive lines .It runs on 35 inch goodyear dura walls.New interior new rag top.,heater. 8000 pound warn winch rancho suspension leaf springs in rear moved out side of frame. Full cage roll bar to many extras to list over 20 years of work invested and over 30000.00 in parts It also took first place at 2010 Fun Run car showan 2011 for its class in Kingman Az. “Frame off restoration on a 49 cj3a. less than 300 miles on this jeep since completion. New springs and shackles, professional bikini top and seats and more. If I couldn’t rebuild it I replaced it. L134 engine was professionally rebuilt. Every thing was sandblasted and coated with rust prevention before painting. Will also come with an extra running L134 engine and an other parts engine plus a plethora of extra body and drive train parts. This is a personal restoration so the body work and paint job are not professional an that’s why I am not asking 10 to 15 grand for it. Extra parts include a rebuilt dana 41 rear end, cj2a wind shield, hood, gas tank starter and generators, seat springs.
Will sell willys for $5500 alone.”

This looks good. The Seats don’t look original. The mileage is supposed to be only 17,000 miles.

This looks nice. The drain holes appear filled. The grille looks later than a ’46 and the windshield frame might be aftermarket or modified.

“Willys project truck, this truck has a lot of work done to it already. All new wiring, chevy V6 TH350 transmission out of 70’s Chevy pick up, as well as a late 70’s Chevy rear end. It also has a new fuel tank, new heater, and it was painted a few years ago. There is still work to be done to this truck, I was going to put a Wagoneer front axle to match the Chevy rear end or you could also put a Ford 9″ rear end to match the front axle. The passenger and driver side windows have cracks in them. The truck runs and drives good, it also looks good, but does have some waves in the body. It is not a show truck. This would be a great truck to finish from where I got burnt out at, it won’t take much work to finish this truck, or it could be enjoyed how it is now. Please e-mail for more information. “This is a 1947 Willys CJ2A Farm Jeep . It runs excellent and is in very nice condition. It originally came from Nebraska and was not exposed to road salt. It has a working PTO and drum pulley. It currently is registered and inspected. This is a real nice old Jeep.”
Lots to like here, but it seems to be missing windshield wipers and seat back pads.
“Up for sale or possible trade is a 1953 JEEP Willys CJ3b Restored to factory showroom condition. It took over 2 yrs and close to $20,000.00 in receipts of parts alone to build this project. Every thing is brand new including the complete body that I was able to find still in the crate. Must see to understand how much time and money was invested. I have put maybe 10 miles on it since rebuild it still needs a few minor details to complete it. I just don’t have the time to work on projects any more. Email me with any Questions.
