About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“Selling my dj5 ice cream truck. It’s super fun to drive and gets a lot of looks. Still has the pa speaker and ice cream music. It only has 112,xxx miles and runs good. Interior has one seat, and plenty of room to add seats or put for a cooler for ice cream. Has an air trumpet horn, and a high amp battery. Could use new brakes and new gaskets on door seal, and heater needs fixed. It is right hand drive and takes a little to get used to but definitely is fun.”

Gerard has put his beautiful CJ-3A up for sale. He’s done a great job of updating it, while keeping its classic lines.
“OVERVIEW:
Original all steel body and chassis with a modern drive train, suspension, brakes and steering.
Both body and frame were separated before reconditioning and in addition to sandblasting and painting, the frame was reinforced (semi-boxed), making it stronger than original. Most of the popular
modifications have already been made and due to the modern updates, this specialty vehicle can be
inexpensively maintained at any Chevrolet dealership or independent shop.
Unlike most 60 year old Jeeps, this vehicle is a joy to drive daily with modern engine functionality,
automatic transmission, and other updates. It drives perfectly straight with no steering wheel wobble or wonder, and the wider track makes it handle predictably, more like a modern 4×4. The driver and passenger are protected by a padded roll cage and held in place by through the seat 5-point racing harnesses. Jump seat for parcels only.
(11/16/2013) It’s missing the front bow holder, but otherwise looks like a good restoration candidate.
“Very nice, running, mostly original 1946 CJ2A. Primo restoration candidate because you’re starting with such a great Jeep. Runs and drives just fine. Brakes need work. It stops but very hard to lock up the wheels even if you stand on the brake pedal. Been in storage for many, many years, Started a mechanical restoration years ago but never finished. Other than the brakes, needs very little mechanically. Starts right up, everything works and drives just fine. Just need to be careful to allow enough distance in front of you to stop. Panic stops would not go well, everything else great.
Almost no rust at all. Have all the original wheels even though only one of the original ones is installed on it right now. Hard top from M38. Two broken side windows on hard top (vandalized) but windshield on Jeep itself is perfect.
All original except conversion to 12 Volts. Give me a call and come take it for a drive, everything works.
(02/22/2014) At least some of this might be DJ-3A, given the year and the solid back.
