Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Custom built chassis (full tub) with narrowed Dana 44 rear end, rear custom Sway bar, Weld racing wheels, 4 wheel power disc brakes, power steering rack, 4 way AIR RIDE controlled with AVS switch box, strange axels, Holly Line lock, Blue Top Optima, painless wiring, custom exhaust, 4 core cooling system with electric fan, custom interior, custom stainless dash with Auto meter gauges, crows foot seat belts, stainless trim throughout, new tempered glass all around, Braided lines, and the list goes on and on. “FOR SALE: 1952 Willy’s Overland model CJ3A Jeep – recent frame off, functional restoration (replaced full floor panel) – In addition, this Jeep has a freshly Rebuilt L-134 engine, new clutch, new exhaust system, rebuilt steering gear and all new steering linkage, new springs, new brake master cylinder and all new instruments. While mostly stock, this Jeep has been upgraded to 12V electrical, electronic ignition, Solex carburetor, 11″ brakes, AM/FM/CD stereo and includes a new Tiger Top. This Jeep is equipped with new all-season radials mounted on stock Willy’s 15″ rims.
Also included, but not currently installed: New In Box lockout hubs and tow bar. Operator and Service Manuals included.”

This appears solid.
“Very clean, 4 wheel drive, 4 speed with high and low range, motor has less than 10 miles on it after complete overhaul. New pistons, valves, valve guide, and harden seats. Has new brakes, wheel cylinders and master cylinder with silicone fluid to make it trouble free. This vehicle has a 24 volt electrical system. Excellent running order. Has aluminum doors to go on the cab.”
This looks good. It has the wrong driver-side fender.

It has new tires, New brakes, New gas tank, New Champion 3 Core aluminum radiator, New headliner, Small block Chevy engine, All exterior chrome trim in very good condition, New paint job, and has been stored inside. The Title is clear, and the bidding starts at $2500.00. No reserve, highest bidder wins. Shipping responsibility and cost is up to buyer, but I will help to arrange the shipping. “Available is an awesome Willys Wagon ready for Spring cruising! This has been restored recently. A lot of time and money has been spent on the Willys for YOU to enjoy! It is in a nice driver condition. It has been in Tennessee over the last 30 years. The original engine and transmission were swapped for a Chevy 250ci 6 cylinder and automatic transmission. They are reliable, and it also has dual exhaust. It has new front and rear glass with rubber, the side glass has been tinted. It has nice moon caps and trim rings on color coded steel wheels. The heater works, as does the A/C (cowl vent)! It has a late model speedo that works, after market gauges and a CD player with box speakers in the rear.”
This looks good except for the missing tool indents. It does not run. This was on Craigslist.
