About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(11/29/2012) This looks like a solid rig for the price. It is also listed at sellajeep.com

Josh spotted this auction. It takes place March 22-24, 2013. This is the Jade Tint Green/Glacier White color scheme. It is too bad the engine doesn’t look in better shape.
It’s a CJ-2A with a MB/GPW Grille, a few handles, and some other items. Looks fun.
“Driven weekly,12Volt,many extra parts, not restored, parade ready.Have dual axle trailer with electric brakes and ramps to haul it $1,500.Can deliver. Titled as 1948 but has no tailgate so not 1948.has some 1942 patrs.cell”
The other pics are a little small, but it appears solid.
“CJ3A restored, 100% original, looks, runs, drives great. Has canvas top, civilian model trailer (smaller frame), lots of spare parts, military wheels, and tires on jeep and trailer. Standard wheels for jeep on the side. Jeep is 100% solid, immaculate, and rust free. Trailer is solid but could use fresh paint.”
“Willys M38 Military Jeep from M-Series Jeep category. Ready for fun and recently painted and gone over. Near Branford or Old Saybrook area. Asking $9900.”
No perfectly stock, but looks in good condition. The serial number is 18936, but appears to be missing indents. I can’t tell if it has a column shift or not either.
“This item for auction is a rare Willys CJ2A Jeep. This is a “VEC” (“Very Early Civilian”) model as it was produced almost immediately after World War II. The VECs share many parts with the legendary 1941 to 1945 Jeeps and is just as indestructible.
I bought this in August as something to tool around in and take out to the desert. Due to health concerns, I’m no longer able to drive it.
The Jeep starts, runs, steers, stops rides etc very well. The motor fires right up and once warmed up, it has an idle as quiet as a sewing machine. The transmission shifts smoothly through all gears, the clutch works great and I just redid the front and rear brakes. The front floor pans were patched in the last few years and are very solid. If you look underneath, you can see where it was repaired. There’s no major body rust and the frame is straight. I replaced the front bumper too.
The Jeep is currently registered though March and has a clear title. It is exempt from onerous emission control regulations.”
The wagon looks nice. With some body work the truck might look good, too.
