These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This looks great, though to be period correct in needs a few changes.
“Frame off restoration with EVERY part rebuilt or replaced to period correct condition. New seats and seat frames, new gas tank, new tires, new brakes, new gauges, etc. Transmission, engine, differentials, gear boxes, wheel knuckles, everything…rebuilt with original parts. This vehicle does have the original PTO unit on the back. It’s a pretty cool and unusual feature. No rust, powder coat desert tan paint. Powder coat was done by a professional hot rod shop. Runs Great! Great FUN!!! I have a shop full of automotive projects and it’s time to move on to the next one.”
This looks good, however the seller notes this would make a great project. So this might need work?
“FOR SALE 1 1952 Willys Flat Fender, almost all stock from the Oil Bath air cleaner, to the seats and 3 speed transmission. Has an original Flathead 4 cylinder engine, 12V electrical, and a 1 barrel carburator. ”
“Very solid ole’ Willys Jeep made in 1947, was redone a little over 5 years ago, garage kept, rust free. The Engine and transmission all work great, although the transmission does leak a little, it needs a new seal, the clutch is working very well. Brakes are spongy and could use a little work, prolly adding brake fluid would do the trick. Runs down the road smooth and is road legal, I have a clear title for this jeep as well. The jeep has 16″ NDT military tires, and the roll bar is bolted on, so if you do not want that you can get rid of it by unbolting it. I have the original rods and a bikini top for it, or I have a aftermarket snap on cover that can be used as well, all included with the jeep. “A very nice restoration candidate. Excellent overall condition. Very strong and quiet running engine, no smoke, starts right away. Totally correct engine compartment with all the correct 24V electrics. Transmission and transfer case shift and operate smoothly, no excessive noise or leaks. Some minor dents in the body and fenders. The only rust is not the passenger floor and is shown in the photos. A small hole was cut in the right rear wheel well and can also be seen in the pictures. Totally correct interior and exterior. Original top bows, all the brackets. No top canvas included. All original early wheels. Tires are 40% or so. Original fuel tank too!
It was 36 degrees F when I took the pictures, so the exhaust you see is not smoke!
New parts recently added: all new brake lines, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, fuel lines, batteries, front bumper, rear bumperettes, clutch z tube and seal kit, complete exhaust system.
This jeep could be used as is. Runs, drives and stops. All you need to do is put a new wiring harness in and repaint it.”

“This is a really rare “big boy toy”. Professionally upgraded with a Chevrolet 350 V-8 engine and Turbo 350 automatic transmission. It also has Dana 60 running gears (front and back), and a fiberglass tilt front end. You’ll never see another one just like it. There are still some things that could be done to really make this a show winner… Unfortunetly though, I’m having to sacrifice for a more practical daily driver. I’ll trade for something nice, or sale for $4,000 obo.”
“I have always wanted one of these Jeepsters. Now I own one. I went to look at a ’57 Ford Thunderbird and I missed the turn and I saw the Jeepster setting next to the road with a for-sale sign and told my wife we need to go look at it. We found the T-Bird but I could not buy it even for the price just to ruff. We were going to go look at a another car and I did not get an answer then remembered the jeepster which was very close by. When I was looking at it the owner drove up and the rest is history. Had a great drive back. we put the top down and drove home 44 miles most of it on I-5. Ran great. When I opened the hood I was not to sure what to expect, it is all stock with that little 4 cylinder F head Hurricane Jeep engine. This engine produced 75 hp (56 kW; 76 PS) at 4000 rpm (although it redlines at 3200 rpm). 3 speed transmission on the tree with Overdrive. Still 6 volt. Top is very good. He did not have the side curtains. The Jeepster was an automobile originally produced by Willys-Overland Motors from 1948 to 1950. Willys developed the Jeepster to crossover from their “utilitarian” type truck vehicles, to the passenger automobile market. They built 5,836 Jeepsters in 1950. Joe at Old School Garage has taken care of a few small things like getting the gas gauge to work. The Over drive will not engage. Joe got the heater to work. It’s all serviced and safety check and ready to go. Cond. # 3+.”
