This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1948 Willys Jeepster ,Converted To each Cruiser.All restored has some paint blemmishes,4 cylinder 6 volt 3 on the tree tranny.Have originol top ,boot and side windows clean. Was running great has 2 week cylinders needs rebuilt ”
It appears the restorer spent a great deal of time turning this CJ-2A into a militarized-CJ-2A.

“1951 Willys Overland on original frame and suspension. V6, automatic, tilt steering wheel, power steering. Has been on jack stands in my garage for the last 5 years. Needs some work but is in overall good condition. Does not run. Comes with a car dolly”

“I am selling my 1949 Willys Sedan Delivery Panel Truck. I have owned it since 1986. It has sat in my garage all these years waiting for me to redo. I started it up last summer and drove it around the block a few times. It has around 25,000 original miles. All Original. It has aftermarket wheels on it now, but I have the Original Rims & Hubcaps. (08/19/2010) Here’s a nicely updated Wagon.
“1955 Willys Wagon – Flathead 226 Super Hurricane Motor. 3 speed manual transmission with overdrive. 3″ body lift. Runs well and is in good shape. Some minor rust but nothing major. Clutch was recently replaced. Looks good but is far from a show car.”

“1946 Willy’s Jeep, Super Hurricane 6 Cyl. Manual tranny. Seats are newly re upohlstered, have bikini top and roll bar. I have all the parts,runs but needs some assembly. Good condition. I have the title and paperwork. $3500.00,B.O., or trade? Baja Bug or 65 Cadillac 2 door would be cool. I bought it but I’m too tall to fit in it. ”

I wonder if the seller has verification that this was a Hotel DJ.
“It is a 1962 Jeep Willys DJ-3A one of about 2500 made that year. It was originaly a little Island touring truck that the hotels would use to take guest around. Its in good running order, looks ok. It does need a paint job and a little body work. Price is negotiable. I am leaving the Island soon so it needs to sell. attached is a pic of what it could be. right now it is flat black.”

Too bad this has the F-head and multiple front turn signals as this looks pretty stock otherwise.
“1952 Willys CJ3A Jeep, Hurricane 4 Cylinder, Motor Transplant, Runs and Drives, Clean Title, Soft Tob, Brand New Tires. Asking $4000.”

He writes, “this jeep comes with a strong f-head motor, a T-90 tranny and upgraded Dana 20 transfercase. In the rear is an AMC 20 rear axle and in the front is a Dana 30 front axle with disk brakes. Just about everything is new, including a 24,000 btu heater(NEW)very good condition. There’s too much to list. Please contact for more information.”

“1948 Willys CJ2A. Looks and runs great. Four wheel drive works. Original engine replaced with a 350 (Novak conversion). All terrain 31 inch tires on chrome wheels. Roll bar. Gas tank enlarged and moved from under the seat to behind the rear axle. Aftermarket bumpers on front and rear. Sprayed in liner. Newer, more comfortable, seats. Although not in the pictures, there is a Tigertop soft top currently on the Willys. Current tag and inspection. Title in my name. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer CJ2A than this. I prefer to sell the Willys, but would consider a trade for a four wheel drive ATV 500cc or bigger.”
