“1942 SCRIP FORD CALLED SCRIP FORD BECAUSE FORD IS WRITTEN OUT ON THE BACK OF IT.FORD MADE JEEPS FOR THE WAR EFFORD TO THE SPECS OF WILLYS. THEY PUT THEIR NAME ON THEM AS DID WILLYS UNTILL THE ARMY DECIDED IT DID NOT WANT ANY COMMERICAL LETTERING ON THEM, AT THAT TIME THEY PROHIBED COMPANIES FROM DOING THIS. FORD HAD MADE ABOUT 17000 UP UNTILL THEN. I HAVE REWIRED THE JEEP CHANGED IT OVER TO 12 VOLTS,IT HAS A SOLEX CARB, HAS AN ELECTRONIC DISTRIBOR [NO POINTS] I HAVE THE ORIGINAL CARB AND DISTRIBTOR FOR IT. FRONT SEATS ARE ORIGINAL REAR IS NOT, LOTS OF THINGS AND HISTORY TOO MUCH TO INCLUDE HERE , JEEP IS 98 PERCENT RUST FREE”
Looks like a good price for a restored Wagon.
