This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This is an interesting build. I thought it might be a DJ delivery body, but it does appear to be a 3A body. I’d say those front fenders are custom. The front frame rails have been extended.

“This jeep was my project in high school about 5 years ago. It’s been kept in the garage since then. Starts and runs like a champ, the engine (original 4 cylinder L-head) was rebuilt just before I got it, so very low hours. We had the transmission rebuilt, shifts like the day it was built. Body and paint (’46 Harvest Tan scheme even though this is a ’47 by serial number) is in excellent condition, interior protected with color matched bed liner. Hat channels are like new, no rust.
