This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1955 Military Jeep. This is a communications model jeep, which has an overdrive transmission. The jeep was restored a few years ago, and the only part of the jeep that is not correct is the rims and tires. They were changed out for a more comfortable ride on the pavement. (01/18/2016) Has the ventilating windshield.
“Collector and show quality vehicle. Rare Willys make, CJ6 model, and body style. FRAME OFF restored, nut and bolt, immaculate and in perfect condition. TX truck, no rust.
Hurricane 4 cylinder OHV engine, 3 speed floor shift manual transmission, 2 lever transfer case (4WD and low/high range), ‘Selectro’ front locking hubs, original new steel wheels and new tires including side mount spare, folddown and flipout windshield, vacumn wiper- driver, hand wiper-passenger. AND a front PTO powered original Koenig winch (also restored) with the additional floor lever to engage and throttle control cable.
Original front and rear seats, now recovered in leather with cowhide inserts very nicely done.
No top. Just as beautiful underneath. Good title. Must see to appreciate. Best I’ve ever seen.

“This is a 1946 CJ2A Serial Number 48768 that is in original barn find condition. It has the hard to find governor and rear PTO setup for a farm jeep. It has many original part and has the original motor in it. It does not run, the motor does not turn over and the transmission and transfer case seem to be stuck as well. It is a great candidate for a restoration or just repair what’s needed and drive it. The front floors are the worst of the sheet metal, the rear quarter near the spare tire mount will need some work as well and the windshield is shot.”

“UP FOR SALE, RESTORED 1951 JEEP WILLYS OVERLAND CJ3A. This Jeep is an older restoration, but it still looks great. It was restored by an man in Ky, then it sat on display in a dealership in Murray Ky until the dealership closed. It is all original with the flat head four engine. Tires still like new. Just installed a new carburetor. NADA Average retail is $14,650, & High retail $23,300. This Jeep definitely fits between those two categories. My price is well below that.
