About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Looks pretty stock, except for that extra piece around the windshield.
“$4,500. /OBO Antique Jeep. Runs great …still use it to get around the farm. It has the original flat head four cylinder engine. Completely restored several years ago. Covered in shed … used on the family farm for most of its life.”
“We have a 1956 Willies Jeep Pickup 4×4 that is in really good condition for its age…. It is very drivable. 4 wheel drive works good. Lots of work has been done, but could still use some work…. Front glass is really good and back glass good but back glass has a BB spot or something, the passenger side is cracked and needs to be replace which would be an easy fix. Can be restored or it can be driven just like it is. Have quite a bit of extra parts. Serious inquires only please, as everyone’s time is valuable and important. $5800 obo that is reasonable. Really fun truck!”

“1953 Willy’s M38A1 1/4 Ton 4 x 4 Jeep. Serial # 44613. Mileage reads 38,117. Powered by the original Hurricane 4 cylinder F-Head gas engine. 3 speed manual transmission, 2 speed transfer case and 2 or 4 wheel drive. This M38A1 starts very easily and runs, drives and stops good. The body is in good solid shape with some imperfections (see photos). All lights, gauges and turn signals work. Overall this is a nice old Army Jeep.”
It’s not running at the moment, but looks in good shape.
“’53 Korean War vintage M38A1 Willy’s Jeep. Overall in good shape but presently not running. Was running great when I purchased it two years ago for a restoration project, but it has been sitting in the garage since then. I’m sure batteries will need replacing, oil pan gaskets leaks and carb will need cleaning. Everything else looked solid when I bought it. Tires are like new. Canvas top & seats are awesome. Body is solid. Even have side doors and flaps. Hurricane engine only has 22,700 miles. Also has a heater (not installed). Great start for project military Jeep. Selling for $5,200 while it’s not running. Once I take to my mechanic and get it running price will go up to $6,200. ”
(02/09/2017) “1962 Kaiser Willys Wagon for sale. This a very nice, well kept original vehicle. It runs and drives as well as it looks.
This vehicle was purchased by a local ranch and it stayed there until a close friend of mine purchased it in 2014. We replaced all 4 springs, installed new wheels and tires, and replaced the water pump. It has had less than 50 miles put on it since this work was completed.
The original straight 6 was replaced with a 283 small block chevy. The original 3 speed Borg Warner T-90 trans was retained, and it shifts very smooth. The transfer case is a Dana 18 twin stick (Hi/Low & 2wd/4wd). Front axle is a Dana 27, rear is a Dana 44. I believe the gear ratio is 4.10.
The original paint shows very well. Two tone Fountain Green Poly over Plantation White. There are some faded spots on the hood, but I’m certain it could be buffed and made to shine nicely. The interior is in very good condition. The drivers side front and rear seats appear to have been re-covered, but still look good. The headliner has been removed. No rust to speak of as this rig spent the majority of it’s life in a barn shielded from the elements.
This would make an excellent restoration candidate as very little needs to be done to the body and the running gear is all functional. Or drive it as is, and enjoy it for many years.”
