(09/26/2013) It looks like a fair price. I’m wondering if there’s been a little work on the passenger side near the drain hole.

“1946 WILLYS CJ2A Flat Fender Jeep – 4×4. It has a 4 cyl. engine with rare 3-speed column shift. Tow bar in front, tow hitch in rear. VEC (Very Early Civilian). Serial no. 12,950. This piece of American history, nearly 70 years old, came from a farm in Sullivan, Missouri. It was used for beaver hunting. I have the old Missouri title. This vehicle is smog test exempt. I have clear Calif. title in my name. It has a “Date of Manufacture” Calif. License Plate.”

This runs and drives. Most interesting is the rare hardtop. Anyone recognize that?
“Hi I’m selling a 1966 Willys Jeep by the Kaiser Jeep corp. It has 87,115 original miles, originally a barn find stored for over 15 years with the same tires when parked. It is still the original arena yellow but could use a paint job. Has some what of a rare Buick 225/3.7L V6 only offered from ’66 to ’71, it is known to be a very dauntless motor and it is.
T-90 4 speed transmission
Dana 18 transfer case
Dana 27 front end
And the famous Dana 44 rear end
The jeep runs and drives great considering it didn’t come out with power steering and the 4wd works great also. Has the lock in/lock out hubs. It does have a little rust behind the front tires but not a rust bucket. It would be a great hunting/farm rig or awesome to restore. It does have a bikini and a hard top. The only problem I know that it has is it will pop out of first gear I was told it’s a cheap fix though.
This is still in the previous owner’s name.
“This is a nice Jeep Willys ready to be added to your collection! It was purchased from a California owner and still has CA tags and title. I will include all my receipts for parts and work done. Won’t Last!”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000.
The paint job is unusual, but it looks like it could be a good price.
“Has original motor. Changed it to 12 volt. Runs, Drives. Slips out of 2nd gear and doesn’t have a parking brake cable. Comes with soft top with doors, jerry can with holder, locking hubs, hi-lift jack and CB radio
Also comes with extra set of axles front and rear. Fenders (little rusted), hood, Front grill window frame and drive lines.”
UPDATE: **SOLD for $15,000**
“This jeep and trailer has been 98% restored with original parts. What you see is what you get. The trailer is 6 1/2′ long and 4′ wide. Here’s a video of an interview the previous owner did for the newspaper…
UPDATE: Was $5000. **Status Unknown**
