Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1956 Willys Jeep CJ5 (Please no calls past 7pm – No trades – 615-448-5556)
I believe has a Hurricane 4cyl engine and T90 manual transmission.
Has original wheels, top and doors. ** Top and doors are really hard to find… Worth a ton ** Front fenders and floor pans have lots of rust.
It does not run. It was running 2 years ago… Took carburetor off and some other stuff and never got back around to fixing it up. If it was running, I’d be selling it for a lot more than $900obo.
Has original 1956 title from the farmer I purchased it from. It was used to pull large delivery trucks up steep hills. Has lots of various parts that come with it.”

“New reproduction body tub, hood, fenders, tailgate, windshield frame with new glass. Local repair shop professional rebuilt engine, transmission, transfer case, both front and rear differentials. It has new brake shoes, drums, bearings, wheel and master cylinders. Also new clutch, pressure plate, leaf springs, rebuilt seats and with 5 new NDT 6.00X15 tires and painted WWII military olive drab.”

This might make a good restoration project. It has an interesting dash mod for the gauges.

“1946 CJ2A Jeep for sale that has been restored and brought back to life. All original except electrical is now 12 volt, back seat, grab bar and rear lights. The jeep was inspected last year and runs good. Two boxes of used and new extra parts included.”

No title, but looks pretty complete.
“1946 Willys CJ2A, no title, sold as parts vehicle only. Body is in good condition an the vehicle is pretty much complete. Would make a great rat rod or just restore back to original.
