Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a compleetly restored CJ2A Frame. The frame was sandblasted and repainted with HD Por 15 paint. It comes complete with motor, trans/transfer case, and many other things (listed below). This is super solid start to a great completed jeep. I have a clear title and many receipts for parts. Call or email for more detail.
All new brakes, lines, and master cylinder.
New steering wheel, shaft, bushings, and horn button
All new front steering suspension (ball joints, bushings, etc.)
Engine is not rebuilt but ran perfect and has great compression, and is all resealed and detailed.
Transmission is rebuilt and resealed.
Includes complete power take-off system
Radiator is new
Also includes:
Grill with lights (excellent condition)
New front bumper
Very nice roll bar
Great set of stock front seats with frames and newer”

Here’s a dual PTO CJ-2A in good shape. I can’t imagine this will last long.
“This antique Jeep is really unusual. It has two PTOs and a handle under the driver’s side of the car that engages either PTO. I don’t know how to operate it, but it is all there. It runs perfectly and looks good. The roughest part is rust around the windshield frame. In the photo of the engine, there is an upper cylinder lubricating system that can be seen in the upper right hand corner of the photo. It also has a roll bar and seat belts. Included in the price is an aluminum top with aluminum doors.”
This might be worth a look. It sports a M-38 windshield and is missing the forward bow holder.

“1948 Jeep, 225 Cu In 1966 Jeep/Buick V6,3 speed trans with All range Overdrive, 6000 Lb Electric Winch, Upgraded Brakes, 2 fuel tanks 10 gal each, Radio, Heater, Electric Wiper, Swingaway tire carrier, 3 seat belts in front, Roll Bar, Rear seat, Turn signals with 4 way, and Aluminum Hardtop. Set up with 6 ft snowplow operated by the winch. 2 sets heavy duty mud and ice tire chains. Clear title and all systems operate and runs well. Will sell with or without plow.”
UPDATE: Price bumped. This was recently painted.

(04/27/2013) “Very nice condition, recent paint, weather stripping, suspension and drive train rebuilt,everything works as it should. Reconditioned Chevy 283 engine swap, new clutch flywheel and pressure plate. Mallard Blue with white interior. Three speed on floor with two speed trasfer case.”
