About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This is unrestored. Looks really good for being unrestored.

“I have the stencils of the hood number and invasion markings, just never managed to find time to paint the Jeep with them.
Jeep runs very well and is in great conditions. Garaged.
Description: Garaged for over 20 years, this partially restored 1945 GPW is in great condition and runs very well. The 4 cylinder willys engine is fueled by a new carburetor and last year new timing gear was installed. There are many other new parts installed on this jeep including: an new generator, water pump, fuel filter, fuel pump, water gauge, oil gauge, master cylinder, brake lines and fittings, tie-rod ends at steering system, and new gas tank. The body is original and the sheet metal is in good condition. The front seats are re-covered in vinyl leatherette. The frame has the original serial number stamped on it. All 5 wheels are tires are off road 15 inch diameter tube type tires and rims. Not combat rims. The electrical system wiring (positive ground) is functioning correctly and the dash lights are wired for street use and the black out system is not connected. The glove box door still has the original metal tags with serial numbers.”
This looks solid. Some paint ought to really help this jeep.

“No rust Jeepster. You are considering bidding on a very nice (not perfect) example of an all-American, post-war classic; the Willys Overland Jeepster, from my mother’s hometown, Toledo, Ohio. This was the first, on-road Jeep available, post World War II. This car has the original, four-cylinder, flat head, 62 horsepower, Go-Devil engine. I purchased this vehicle in late Autumn of 2011, as a winter restoration project and it is now complete. I was able to acquire the vehicle at a very reasonable price, which prompted my purchase. The Jeepster was owned by the same family for the past thirty-seven years, however it wasn’t driven often. Consequently, when I acquired the Jeepster, many small (and, some big) things needed attention, simply due to lack of use. The body is very straight and solid. I recently had the fenders and aprons painted gloss black and the Michigan Yellow body color, repainted. All five tires are new. Once the car arrived, I handed the vehicle over to my mechanic and he performed the following work . . .(read the rest on eBay)”
