These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (03/17/2012) This is a nice looking CJ-2A, though not 100% accurate.
“THIS IS A 1947 WILLYS JEEP.THE JEEP RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT.COMPLETE RESTORE WAS DONE THREE YEARS AGO WITH NO EXPENSE SPARED.WE HAVE DRIVEN THE JEEP 200 MILES OR SO A YEAR AND IN A FEW PARADES AND ENJOYED IT. Though rusty, this runs and drives.
“1961 Willys jeep,starts and runs good.Jeep has no brakes and lots of rust!!Repeat lots of rust !!!Frame is solid but body is very rusty! It was on my farm for years and I do not have a title or registration for it! Did I say it was rusty? 1500.00 or best offer or trade”

“1947 Willys CJ2A jeep. Runs and stops okay. Needs some TLC. Fun jeep to drive around the farm or out in the woods. Mostly all original. 1500.00 OBO ”

This needs some work, but looks pretty solid.
“This Willys CJ3B is mostly original except for the engine, which is a rebuilt 231 V6 that runs great. It has a T90 three speed transmission and Dana 18 transfer case. One downside is that the transmission needs some work . The tires are in good shape and the stock axles have 5:38 gears. The body is in very good condition as is the windshield glass. This is a good, solid project with a lot of potential that already has a good start — mostly just needs some tinkering. Don’t really need to sell , but don’t have the time for it, and maybe someone else can enjoy this old gem.”

“I HAVE THIS 1952 M38 MILITARY JEEP FOR SALE. IT HAS THE ORIGINAL ALUMINUM WINTER TOP WITH DATA PLATE, ORIGINAL MC ENGINE, RADIATOR. BRAKES DO NOT WORK. THE ENGINE RUNS WITH NO SMOKE BUT HAS A RATTLE FROM THE TAPPETS. I DO HAVE A CLEAR TITLE FOR THIS JEEP. I CAN SEND MORE PICTURES UPON REQUEST.”

(08/23/2011) Bob spotted this nice looking Jeepster.
“1950 Willys Jeepster; only 5836 produced; owned since 1965; 75,000 original miles; recently converted to 12 volt system including new starter, generator, and battery; original tires have been recapped; convertible top is functional and includes side and rear curtains; excellent restoration project; runs and can be driven home.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $160,000.
(09/30/2011) For $160,000, a person could buy a pretty cool boat and a pretty cool jeep!

This looks like a solid little jeep.

There are a couple patches, but otherwise might restore well.
