Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Really nice Jeepster that does not need Restoration. The top is ok and the interior is nice. It has the side curtains and runs and drives great, including the overdrive. It has new wheels and tires and comes with an original, working factory heater. The chrome is in good condition and the lights and the horn also work. I’d feel comfortable driving this car anywhere.”

Both are pretty much parts jeeps, we planned to buy a steel tub and combine the parts from both jeeps to create one. We never had the work space and never really got focused on it. Will send detailed pictures if interested.

“1949 Willys Jeep CJ-3A. 100% restored with original 4cyl motor. Have receipts for all parts and Owners manual. Starts and runs absolutely perfect. Everyone who sees it says, “I want one of those” my reply is who doesn’t? Not many like this around. Only selling because of funds needed for business.”

This looks like a time machine that would take me back to the 1950s.
