About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“For your consideration, a 1954? willys m38a1 for parts or restoration. Original paint and markings. Body is in fair condition, missing various interior components. Jeep has all drivetrain components present. Engine is untested, but is a military block and does turn over.”
(09/19/2012) Looks like the damage is to the passenger door and the cab.

“This Jeep and trailer were professionally restored by Bruce Uher with Willys Jeep Restoration. For complete history on this vehicle go to displayjeeps.com and select misc pictures and M38 for El Paso Tx, VFW Post pictures. You will not find a better jeep than this one. I have added a brand new top, new heavy duty starter and back packs for the back of the seats. The jeep had a complete tune up and everything was checked within the last 6 months.”
Though there are a few things left to do on this jeep, it looks nicely refurbished.
“The new owner of this 1947 CJ2A Willys Jeep will get to decide on the color and how much tint if any they want on the windshield glass. Those are about the only large items that need to be done yet. In addition, the new light harness needs to be installed and there are a few other minor items to be completed. All the big stuff is done. There is a new steel body sitting on an un-modified frame. It has new brakes, brake lines, NDT tires & tubes and exhaust system. It has a new battery and proper sized battery cables. The engine was professionally rebuilt as was the transmission/transfer case. Frame was cleaned and painted when the body was off. There is some very minor rust through on the rear cross member that is covered by the draw bar that comes with it. It runs well in both 2 & 4 WD. It is titled but not licensed so it has only been run on our property and a few back roads. I would guess the engine only has about 20 hours on it. Seats have new cushions and covers. Gauges and steering wheel are new. This CJ2A has been done correctly with no cut corners. It is being sold due to health issues that will not allow me to enjoy it when completed so the new owner may as well have their pick of color for it. There are many spare parts that will be included with the sale.”
“Selling a Jeep Willys FC-170 w/ a dump bed and w/ wide snow plow.
This jeep has a heavy duty dump bed and a heavy snow duty snow plow. The motor ran when we parked it a few years ago. We drove it to were it sits now. The engine did need a tuneup and potentially more. The dump bed was working off the motor driven hydraulics when we parked it as well as can be seen in the pictures.
Email us if you are interested or have questions about it.
There is also 2 other FC-170’s with different configurations (one is a flat bed, $500, and one is a utility bed, $800) that are for sale. $2,000.00 for all 3.”

“This jeep runs really good. Freshly overhauled engine a few years ago, 4WD works with locking hubs, new Courser traction LT tires, front brakes overhauled, high torque 12V starter, new carburetor, good battery, lights work, 12V conversion with Chevy alternator, new temp guage and ammeter. Body is hunting jeep quality with some pitting in floor pan. This jeep is ready to go to deer lease as is. Needs literally nothing.”
(10/23/2012) It runs and drives, but has rust. It’s unusual to see a towbar on the front of a FC!
