About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(04/11/2009) I think I’ve seen this before, but I couldn’t locate it among my older posts.

(12/06/2011) Sonny spotted this one. It looks nice. I wasn’t aware these jeeps had red dashes.
“1960 Willys CJ6 Iron duke 4cyl.. Runs great, starts right up,, Frame and floors are rust free, body is perfect except for a little surface on front right fender. Paint is original, Tires are brand new, wheels have been powder coated and carb rebuilt.
The inside is equipped as special order from government bars to separate front from back, red dash only done by Jeep for the forestry division.
This Willys has been in the same family for 40 years and stored indoors, was used the first 10 years as a US Forestry Division vehicle, the top came installed at dealership as ordered by Forestry, one of a kind and a true find..”

“Hi and thank you for looking at my auction. I am helping my father list his Willys jeep as he isn’t computer savy, not that I am either:)
He has a 1955 CJ5 Willys jeep. It has a Best Top soft top and doors. Overhead valve engine. Came from a farm in Illinois before my father bought it. Drives out well. Has been sitting in the shed on the farm here for a few years. Starts and runs well. Carburetor might need a rebuild again. I rebuilt it a fews years back but this wonderful ethanol fuel ruins the rubber diphram in this carb. Paint is fair, not flashy but not going to slide off in a fast turn either. Body is nice and not a rust bucket. I can take pics of the floors and inside and under the body. Was always a red Willys. First year of this “new” body style.
Any questions please ask. Always welcome to come and look and drive it. We will help with shipping and can haul or drive it towards you if that helps. Is and has always been inside since my father purchased it and can stay here if needed as long is it is paid for or prior agreement made to do so. Willing to help just ask before the end of the sale! Title is free and clear, no liens or loans on it.
This is a nice old running and driving jeep. It is almost 60 years old and lived it’s life on a farm. It has a super solid body and runs out great and handles like a nice old truck. It does have dings and dents that have been fixed, the paint is as old as I am (35 years), there are chips in the paint and some scatches. It is a super fun go and get a malt type of dependable old vehicle.
This is a $6500.00 jeep not a restored $12,000.00 one so if that is what you want this is not the truck for you. Please come and look at it before you bid or ask questions about with more than a day left, please. It can be driven and I encourage people interested to do just that.”
This looks great, though to be period correct in needs a few changes.
“Frame off restoration with EVERY part rebuilt or replaced to period correct condition. New seats and seat frames, new gas tank, new tires, new brakes, new gauges, etc. Transmission, engine, differentials, gear boxes, wheel knuckles, everything…rebuilt with original parts. This vehicle does have the original PTO unit on the back. It’s a pretty cool and unusual feature. No rust, powder coat desert tan paint. Powder coat was done by a professional hot rod shop. Runs Great! Great FUN!!! I have a shop full of automotive projects and it’s time to move on to the next one.”
Included are a set of 15″ rims and a set of 16″ rims.
“1951 willy truck 4×4 with dualomatic hubs I have the willys overland tailgate and 2 sets of wheels one 15 inch set of 4 currently on the vehicle and one original set of 5 16 inch rims. it was setup with a ford adapter plate to the t90 transmission but the previous owner pulled the engine. i do have the original 134 f engine it is borderline seized. the body is straight besides the cab where the floor was cut to make room for the transmission
it is missing two of the gauges
and some of the engine parts
and the bumper
i do not have the title but i have the phone number to the guy in shoshone i bought it from and should be easy to either get the original or get a duplicate”
“Very solid ole’ Willys Jeep made in 1947, was redone a little over 5 years ago, garage kept, rust free. The Engine and transmission all work great, although the transmission does leak a little, it needs a new seal, the clutch is working very well. Brakes are spongy and could use a little work, prolly adding brake fluid would do the trick. Runs down the road smooth and is road legal, I have a clear title for this jeep as well. The jeep has 16″ NDT military tires, and the roll bar is bolted on, so if you do not want that you can get rid of it by unbolting it. I have the original rods and a bikini top for it, or I have a aftermarket snap on cover that can be used as well, all included with the jeep. If you have any questions just email me plus I have more pics of the jeep if you need them.”
