About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Jeep runs and drives. Stock 6 volt elec system. Body has lots of rust but not falling off the frame. The frame is straight, rust free, unmolested with no cracks or welds. It’s a great platform for a well deserved restoration. Also included are two good fenders, windshield frame, and a solid body tub. Will not separate. Can deliver within 25 miles.”
The bumpers appear to be changed. Otherwise, this looks stock.

This is rare truck. Learn more about it over at the FCConnection where pictures of the vehicle pre-restoration, during restoration and post-restoration can be seen: http://thefcconnection.com/dan_devries_1964_m-677.htm
This looks pretty stock. It looks like it would restore pretty well.
“I have for sale a 1951 willys M38 Flatfender jeep. For sale is one of the most rare flatfender jeeps made, it is a true M38 military version, not a CJ title says M38. I believe they only made these for 2 years and it was the last of the flatfendered body style. This one has a very solid body with very minor and easy to fix rust, runs great, has a 4 cyl and 4 speed trans out of a later military jeep. has the original military axles with 5.38 gears. new guages (tach, volts, fuel, engine temp, oil pressure) mounted in the factory location. Has a rattle can OD green paint job, mile marker front lockout hubs, 235/85/16 tires but have a set of original military tires that go with it. Also have a metal top/cab that is available seperately. motor starts on the first crank but air/fuel ratio needs adjusted but runs good overall, needs a rear wheel cylinder but before that blew the brakes were strong. really a nice rare jeep for the money, would make a good restorer. please txt 712-263-zero-three-five-seven or reply to the ad with any questions. Thanks for looking. price is firm I dont need to sell it just want more room ”

Reserve the right to end the auction at anytime as it is for sale locally. Please email with any questions.”
“You are bidding on a frame off completely restored Willys CJ3b. This jeep is a 1954 CJ3b that was totally stripped down to the bare frame. The frame was media blasted, primed and the painted in semi gloss black. NOS front and rear springs were the added along with totally reconditioned front and rear axles and differentials. All seals and bearings were replaced. The brake system was rebuilt with new wheel cylinders, new master cylinder and new brake shoes. All new brake lines were authentically reproduced and routed. The front kingpins were replaced with NOS units. New rirs were primed and painted in original air force “strata” blue paint and new military non-directional tires installed.
The engine, transfer case and transmission were totally disassembled and proffesionally rebuilt by “Army Jeep Parts” of Levittown Pa. An Nos distributor, rebuilt starter and generator were installed as well as a new water pump. A new fuel pump and new gas tank were installed. A beautifully accurate reproduction wiring harness was installed on the vehicle and is authentic in ever detail. The air cleaner was restored inside and out and the carb was totally rebuilt. The radiator is an NOS unit. All hoses were replaced and an original working Harrison heater was restored and installed. The front sheet metal, hood and grill are original units and the windshield is an NOS unit with replacement glass. The body tub was too far gone to repair so a new tub was purchased. This tub was extensively reworked to be as accurate as possible. An original dash was welded in place and the transmission hump altered to be more accurate. All top mounts and brackets are original and were welded to the body. The underside of the body and floor were covered with “Linex” for ultimate protection and sound insulation. All instruments are NOS units as are the interior lamps and knobs. The jeep has a new canvas “Beechwood” top and cushions. The top has a removable rear panel as the original and is stenciled for Offutt Air Force base. The doors and top are easily removable. The jeep is painted to represent a “SAC” line jeep of the sixties. All correct data plates and stenciling have been applied.
The jeep runs and drives like a new vehicle and has no known issues. The restoration was finished one year ago and it has been driven about 50 miles since completed miles. Everything works!!! The only known issue is the heater is noisy and should be lubricated. All fasteners are stainless steel and there is absolutely no rust! The underside is as clean as the top.
This jeep was featured on the cover of the CJ3b web page.”
