About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1949 Willys Jeep original 4 cylinder. Body is in decent shape, floor pans need attention, but otherwise good. Have title for the Jeep. I believe it is complete minus the gas tank. I have too many projects that I will never get to.”
“1949 Red Willys CJ3A Jeep, very stock, never really restored, just rebuilt as needed along the way. Body has been repaired some, but looks good. Flathead L134 engine rebuilt, still 6V, brakes all redone, new Best Top, 4 fairly new NDT tires, my driver Jeep, pretty at 20 feet, but not afraid to go off road. The Newgren Buzz Saw is as found, unrestored. I have all the rear PTO assembly, but it is not installed. This saw is draw bar mounted and a Willys Special Equipment Option. Be the hit at the next Working Willys Show. Price for both is $7000.”
This doesn’t run. Mark has this listed over at Sellajeep.com.
“1955 m38a1, very complete, all orig 24v motor, even has orig blackout light, back seat, orig markings. Not running, lost title, 20 years in barn, needs minor floor repair, 5 matching correct tires/rims $1500 Jim 609-654-5070 New Jersey”
“Barn find, but maintained 1958 Willys Jeep FC170 all original an unmolested, good tires, original wheels & snow plow incl. runs good. possible 40,000 original miles, Ca. truck still has all the undercoating. Not a ding anywhere. CA.”
“For sale: 1950 Willys Jeep. flathead 4 cyl. Has been sitting in a barn for some time and is not currently running. It has the power takeoff for farm use. 765-524-0108”
“All stock and together except right tail light lens and rear seats. Sound and fairly straight body. Needs front floor and tailgate patch panels. No other serious rust. 2 broken windows but they are easy to replace flat glass.”
(07/26/2011) This has a rear PTO and was a column shift before a conversion.
“Vintage 1946 Jeep CJ2A. One owner since about 1947. Regularly serviced. Garaged for all of its life and not used for the past 25 years. Engine has been started regularly. First civilian model after WWII. Had shifter on steering column, but has been converted to a floor shift. Original flat head engine has also been replaced with the overhead valve four cylinder ‘hurricane’ engine. Large rear mounted PTO winch. Otherwise, most everything else is stock. In great shape with a ‘Koenig’ steel top. VERY little rust, if any? Repainted, upholstered and gone over mechanically in about 1956. Seats can use new upholstery. Carburetor rebuilt in 2006. Doesn’t burn oil or leak. Tires are all pretty good. Rims have a chrome ring on the rim. Everything works good. Runs great. Great for original restoration or drive it as is. Serious parties please E-mail to discuss price.”
