Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Mostly orginal jeep in need of some work. The floors need replaced or fixed and the windshield chanel is rusty, but this jeep is worth fixing. It has a v6 buick engine which has 18,000 orginal miles. I strongly believe the miles are correct because i purchased it off the orginal owner. The gas tank has rust in it so u may be able to flush it or have to replace it don’t know. It’s four wheel drive an i thing it would be a blast to drive if fixed up. I just flat out have way to many projects on my hads, an it will be years before i reach this one thats why im selling. you can here the engine run briefly before it runs out of gas. Sorry about the last posting my computer went down right after i posted it. I want so of my money back out of it so i could say 1,500 or 1,200 and go down. But i just want to cut to the chase 1,000 obo This jeep is not driveable as of right now. It will need gone over. Please call only it you are serious thanks bill 440-339-4154”

(08/20/2010) It looks solid.
“1957 willys fc150. THIS VEHICLE IS NOT COMPLETELY RESTORED but it is a solid truck and strong runner. this truck is in excellent mechanical condition. Runs drives and stops, ( good brakes). Four wheel drive with lockout hubs and overdrive all works great. this is the best and the most complete fc i had ever owned, even the dome light works. It is and was a original factory flatbed with removable side racks. the doors fit tight like new with no swag, the windows are good and clear with no cracks, the door glass rolls down with no problems, floor boards are excellent and the frame is solid with the counter weight. head ,tail,and stoplights and horn all works. the wipers work sometimes but needs help. The lower cab corners have been repaired overall it is in excellent condition. The front bumper was removed with extra support added so it could be used as a push or service vehicle. The cab is solid and free of any dents.”

This looks like it has been stored for 30 years. This might be in pretty decent shape.
“1940’s ? unsure of year Jeep Willys with plow! Truck has been stored in barn for 30+ years and has a plow. Ran when put away. Very cool restoration project for someone. You know who you are. Email offer and I may let you come see it.”
This is a nice looking CJ-3B.
“Up for auction my 1956 Willys CJ3B Jeep Known as the high hood jeep. Restoration completed in 2003 and has been a trophy winning trailer queen since. Frame off restoration with a new all steel body. New braje shoes wheel cyliders master cylinder and steel lines and rubber lines. New wiring harness, lites steering wheel ,5 new nonderical tires, and gauges with the speedometer showing 160.7 miles. The collor is Willys plantation white. Basicly if it needed new it got it. There is one spot with paint rubed off were the hod meets the cowl on righ side. Some very small paint chips on rims, stone chips hard to see .There is a vey small exhaust noise on idel but goes away after that. There is some play in the rear diffential if that causes you ploblem I will a good set of rears. You want to come see it, I will take you for ride. Questions call John 570-836-6645. (06/19/2011) Happy Father’s Day! I just ran across this deal. It looks great for the price.
“Please read entire ad before responding. ’53 Willys Jeep, Model CJ3A, 4WD, flathead 4 cylinder Jeep engine, 6 volt system, aluminum cab with plow, 44,000 original miles. No brakes. Owner used to plow driveway. Body has some rust, mostly surface, floors and bed are rusted through, cross members are weak. Frame is solid. Never put on the road, no title or registration. Driven into garage and parked in 2007 and has not been started since.
Potential buyers should be ready with a trailer. I do not live near where the vehicle is located so the vehicle must be removed at time of sale.
