Here’s another ‘Cool’ jeep from Cali.
“This is a 1952 Willys Army jeep in need of a restore. It has never been restored. The engine indicates it was rebuilt in occupied Japan. It’s located in Cool, California, half way between Auburn and Placerville in Gold Country. Bring cash and pick up this awesome project car! Here’s a link to some photos: ”

“Here is a 1958 FC 170 that has been in the shed for 30 yrs. It was my grandpa’s and he has passed away so now it is up for sale. I don’t know what year he bought it and i don’t know much about the history except that the last job he used it for was to fix the pasture fence. I know this because i cleaned out the fence posts and barbed wire. My mom said he always really loved this truck b/c it was his first four wheel drive. the last date on the tag is 1980 so i would say that is when he quite driving it. I got it out a week ago to get it ready to sell. I blew off the motor, checked the oil and air filter, oiled the pistons, put in a battery, checked for spark, rigged up a small gas tank (i did not was to run any old gas through the carb) and then i turned the key. It started right up and my brother and i were taking turns driving it around the farm! this is a cool old truck. So needless to say the vehicle runs and drives. I shifted through all the gears in the transmission and it all felt good. looks like the back seal on the engine is leaking. the brakes do not work. tires are old but hold air, one goes down in a day or so. I can start it for you if you buy it, but i am keeping the battery. I am not sure of the actual miles on this jeep and i don’t recall what the odometer reads so give me a call and i’ll go look at it. the bed is pretty rusty, especially in the front and on the side tubes. the cab looks to be in good shape except for down low on the back sides, see pics. No rust to speak of around the windshield. a dent in the front and some other digs and dents around the vehicle, see pics and call if you want more info. the glass is all good except for passenger window. If that is not enough info I would be happy to tell you more.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000
This sure looks in curiously good shape for being parked in tall grass.
“1965 Jeep Tuxedo Park Mark IV Model. Needs restored, engine runs, floor boards rusted out, all parts there.”

“BARN FIND ……..HAD THIS FOR 3 YEARS TIME TO SELL….. HAVE TITLE ….DOES NOT RUN????NEVER TRIED”
UPDATE: Was $1000. **SOLD**
Engine frozen and body rusted.
“54 CJ3b Has not run since 1978. Engine does not turn over. Body is badly rusted where channels are located. No title. Great restoration project. Nearly complete. Missing one hood latch and part of the turn signal switch as far as I know (probably missing a few other minor parts I don’t know about). The drive train appears complete and original. Has lock out hubs, hardtop, heater, vacuum brake booster, vacuum windshield wiper. Has 47,300 miles on odometer. Located in Los Alamos, New Mexico. If I was restoring it, I would probably buy a new body for it. The frame looks good for restoration.”
