Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This is a 1965 Tuxedo park IV Jeep its is very rare only 200 made. I want $2500 dollars for it. It has a 3 speed transmission and a buick v 6 engine. the front left fender is damaged as seen in the photos. This rig is all original and Runs great licensed and ready to go!”

“1946 Willys Jeep with title. Complete and running. Good solid original body, engine and transmission. New brakes, shocks, inner windshield frame. New clutch kit (not instaled). Roll bar. Front fenders, windshield and hood removed for painting.”

“1956 Willys Jeep 2 owner vehicle. It has the bolt on hard top (I don’t think it’s ever been off) 4cyl, 3spd,transfer case 4 wheel drive. Runs, drives, shifts. It’s got to go, so come and see it, check it out, has lots of new stuff. Was stored for 9 years by second owner and odometer only shows 17k original as it was a farm vehicle. It does have a plow as well but it dosen’t work presently. Good to fix up and drive or restore. Serious inquiries only please and as I said it’s got to go. $4,250.00 or best offer. Need more deatils contact me. Please no scammers, low ballers or tire kickers as I won’t waste your time so please don’t waste mine. It’s complete”

There were a couple mods to this, but otherwise looks good.
“1944 WILLY’S ARMY JEEP and TRAILER $7000.00 OBO
13 miles on speedo. Restored 20 years ago, very good body. NO RUST in rear tool boxes. Has machine gun mount, flat round spot on floor. 2 front seats with original seat belts, fold down back seat, blackout lights.
Shovel, axe, 5 combat rims, 2 on trailer. Matching trailer with original pintle hitch, support leg and brakes. Has rust hole in trailer floor and someone added a Willys tailgate, bottom of gate is rusted.
Jeep ran fine 10 years, now engine will not turn over. Has been parked under carport.
Owned by same family and brought to America with Scandinavian title, now has Florida title.

This roll cage has some really tight corners. The rest of this looks pretty sound, though there are some dings and dents.

This Jeep is in excellent condition.

“1967 Jeep CJ6 101″ wheelbase, rebuilt 225 Factory V6, new brakes, new top, , new seats front and rear, Warn overdrive, 3 speed, 4X4 with 4:89 Factory Posi, very good tires, needs outside paint job old paint job comes right off with a power washer. Interesting history”

“This is a 1967 jeep cj5 DUALLY. My understanding is that is was owned by the Texas DOT and was used as an auger. The oil in the engine is black, but there is no apparent water in it. The engine compartment is dusty, but VERY complete. It has an alternator instead of generator. I feel with a little cleaning/tuning the engine would run. ( I have revived engines that looked 10 times worse!) The bad, The tranny cover was left loose and water penetrated it as well as the t-case (the drain plug was missing) so they are seized. The windshield is cracked. Both drive shafts are present, but disconnected due to frozen tranny and t-case. The frame has a 1/2 inch thick plate from the front bumper to the rear bumper following the contours of the frame on the outside of the frame rails. THEY ARE BOLTED TO THE FRAME and appear to be manufactured, not made by some some monkey with a torch. The rear axle is a monster, my understanding is that it is a Dana 70. There is a fuel tank, heavier than normal and with no sending unit hole. There are no seats, and the center most portion of the transmission flloor cover near the shifter is missing. The body is surprisingly lacking in rust. There is a minimal amount in the normal locations, but even the hat channels are in good shape. Please ask any questions before bidding, I am willing to help load the vehicle but the buyer is responsible for transportation. ******I just noticed in a couple of the pictures there are side steps that are NOT on the jeep any longer!*******”

This sounds like a solid truck.
“1961 Willys Pickup 4 wheel drive with manual Overdrive. All stock, flathead six with three speed. Electric fuel pump is only modification. Everything works! Current street registration with title in hand. Farm Truck so it has dents and rust. Nothing that isn’t fixable or replaceable. Floors are solid. Doors and bed have rust. Runs Great.”
